Thanks for explaining sree_20. 😊 I just wanted to make sure that I was reading your words right. I guess it does makes sense to have certain limits when criticizing characters.

I think Sree is right. Maybe the one who is playing Sia is reading our forums. You never know. I think we can criticize any character but I guess we have no right to use rude words and hurt someone's feeling. We are decent people and we should behave like ones.

I agree with Sree here. Criticize but be dignified. You never know what you are missing by being so indecent.

In this situation, we all in IF should be writing more constructively.

We do not stop you from telling that you do not like a character bcos of these reasons. But, just imagine, calling a character with names like "Sia Sux", "Sia is Ugly", "Sia-Trout Lips", does not speak great of this forum. We may never know, as IF's popularity is incerasing, we might have all these stars here, in this section, to read what viewers think about them. Here, again, please do not get me wrong, friends. I am not saying that you all are bound to say only goody goody things about the character, even if you do not like it. No. I am not trying to say that. I have always meant to say that a particular message that Sia is not good looking, does not have great acting skills, should work out on her appearance etc can be put in more diplomatic and constructive words, so that certain rude ways of expressing feelings are avoided. Above all, if at all we get these stars here, to read, they will very clearly understand what you all mean to say. We can always drive home a particular point by not being rude, can't we? This is all that i was saying yesterday in the same thread, but you all took me wrong. I am sorry if i could not express properly, what i meant to say....

Please have a rethink friends, we as mods, DO NOT STOP you from criticising a character. But please try to do it within limits. I also want to tell you that this is not a battleground, where we score points off the other member. We are all here to express our viewpoints, argue on it. So please can we all have a rethink about the situation, this includes me too, friends, do not worry.....

Agreed! From now on we should not be critizing someone for his/her looks and will not appreciate anyone for his/her looks. May be the person who we praise will read our posts and then become snobbish 😛

But guys we should follow just one rule either just discuss characters and not discuss physical appearence be it beautiful or ugly, as beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.

Also we were not so against it when openly Abbas Khan was being critisized. Perhaps, Abbas Khan and his family does not read this forum! 😉

Infact, if anyone watches Sa Re Ga Ma, they would have seen that judges critisize all the participants and they take it constructively however they have to listen to their drawback in public, on stage.

At least Sia darling should be happy that she, if at all, can read these posts in her room with doors latched 😃 😃

I do not believe that "Sia" sux. Sia is doing fine
Makeup of a character and the style an actor delivers
dialogues and present him/her is completely dependent
upon the director. Therefore, as far as Sia is concerned
she is doing fine.

The best character actor with acting abilities is
"Shaguna". I think she should be given a better role
with little bit more authority, because she is the
family employee. Shaguna has seen all the ups and
downs of "Simran and Abhi" life
