My personal opinion of Sia:

She is not the most beautiful actress in the world, I admit that. In fact, she used to get on my nerves when she was first intorduced to the show as her acting was awful at that time and she did not look too good.

I know we all say, "don't judge a book by its cover" just to sound mature and intelligent. But seriously, how many of you guys actually do that? In my experience, I found people judge others based on their appearence, not personality. So I guess most of the members opinions are based on Sia's looks.

As time passed, I started to like her as I saw improvement in her acting and began to think that she actually looks cute.

I hope I'm not attacking anyone personally. But I don't think there should be a problem if we criticize the characters of the show. After all, they are just characters, not real people! What's the big deal if members call Sia ugly?? It's their own opinion and should feel free to express it. If we can't comment on the characters, what's the point of this discussion forum??

Personal comments/attacks on forum members is rude, uncouth and should be banned (topic deleted or locked with mods comments).

I don't think you should deal the same way with comments about the tV characters or actors (Sia- Upasna, in this instance)

I couldnt agree with u more Jen! This is just a television show PLEASE pple dont take it personally. I'am attacking the character/apperance of Sia!! and i kno alot of pple agree with me! We live in a democracy we should all be free to speak our mind's!

This Forum is open to freedom of speech,i agree,but that doesn't mean that we go on and on and on about ONE particular topic,until it reaches a stage where things gets out of hand,and people start attacking each other and get personal here,do we?I'm sorry but i don't see any sense in that kind of thing at all!We discuss constructively in this forum,with regards to the serial,characters etc!Yes,we can criticize the characters,basing on our individual opinions,but there is a certain limit to criticism isn't there?And there is something called constructive critcism,and it stops at that,and not provocative ones,that corners people into replying in the same manner which leads to such unwanted situations!

And no,in my opinion,no one NEEDS to say anything POSITIVE about ANY CHARACTERS that they DISLIKE in order to be liked in this Forum,or anywhere in the real world!We are civilised,educated people,who are trying to enjoy alittle bit out of our daily stressful lives,join this Forum which is suppose to allow us to make friends,not argue senselessly and then say,we have been misunderstood just becoz we don't like certain character and support certain character etc,etc!! 🤢

I appreciate the amount of huge efforts the Moderators of the Indian Forum have put in and to those people who have started this Forum in the first place!It's easy to comment and freak out saying whatever u want,but to keep this place clean and free of RUDE,IMPOLITE and not to mention ABUSIVE LANGUAGE,is not an easy job,especially when they (The IF Mods) get accused of being biased etc,at the end of it all!!

My point is,lets GROW UP and MOVE ON!Many of you will NEVER agree with me,and u don't have to,but if you're a matured,educated and civilised adult,u will and put a stop to this senseless so-called discussion!

Last but not least,i'm sorry if i sound alittle harsh and blunt here,for many of you,but really,there is a limit to everything and this has reached its limit long time ago!

Ok Friends, my words in this thread have been misread and misquoted. If you all check out again, i have never ever mentioned in any thread that criticising a character is not good. This forum is meant for Discussion. We are all here to express our views, state our points. We are all here to carry out our arguments. You all have the right to do so, as members of this Forum. Infact, i am nobody to stop you from arguing.

But the only thing i meant to say here was IF is growing big. We all know that. We had our First Ever Star Interview in IF last week with Iqbal Khan the person who plays Angad in KYPH coming. We are also trying to get more stars to IF. We are actually aiming for more. We are also trying to get some Zee Stars here, only time will tell whether we succeed. In this situation, we all in IF should be writing more constructively.

We do not stop you from telling that you do not like a character bcos of these reasons. But, just imagine, calling a character with names like "Sia Sux", "Sia is Ugly", "Sia-Trout Lips", does not speak great of this forum. We may never know, as IF's popularity is incerasing, we might have all these stars here, in this section, to read what viewers think about them. Here, again, please do not get me wrong, friends. I am not saying that you all are bound to say only goody goody things about the character, even if you do not like it. No. I am not trying to say that. I have always meant to say that a particular message that Sia is not good looking, does not have great acting skills, should work out on her appearance etc can be put in more diplomatic and constructive words, so that certain rude ways of expressing feelings are avoided. Above all, if at all we get these stars here, to read, they will very clearly understand what you all mean to say. We can always drive home a particular point by not being rude, can't we? This is all that i was saying yesterday in the same thread, but you all took me wrong. I am sorry if i could not express properly, what i meant to say....

Please have a rethink friends, we as mods, DO NOT STOP you from criticising a character. But please try to do it within limits. I also want to tell you that this is not a battleground, where we score points off the other member. We are all here to express our viewpoints, argue on it. So please can we all have a rethink about the situation, this includes me too, friends, do not worry.....

And yes,i agree with you 200% in the above!As i had mentioned in my post earlier,no one needs to be rude or impolite in criticizing a character for her looks or acting skills,we can be more constructive!And i can just hope members can understand as to how important it is to keep IF clean of all the above!
