~Before 2 days~

A man was tied up in the chair, who is bleeding awfully and he is half-conscious, but the other man who is standing next to him not caring about the man started injecting drugs on him forcefully, and the other man holding a makeup brush with some specks of dust are glistening on top of it.

"Don't close your eyes, otherwise I will ask him to apply skin glowing makeup, it will just peel off your second layer of skin to make you beautiful, Wanna try?" One man asked wickedly.

He gestured another man to touch the victim's skin with the brush which is glistening with chemical specks of dust. Slowly that man grazed the brush to the victim's forearm to his wrists, making the top layers of skin burn brutally, cause of the chemical which is reacting in the skin.

"Ahhh, it's painful, stop torturing me! " The victim begged out of pain.

The whole scene is watched by two other men who are clad in a business suit with a fake pity look on their faces in the same room. Out of two men, the boss started marching towards the victim who is tied up in the chair and get hold of his face and stared at him dangerously for a few secs before talking.

"Awe, poor baby, if you got tired in the middle of the game? How will you save yourself? And How could you give information about my hideout to the officer Vinod?" The boss smiled with fake concern.

"Do you know, what is your mistake in this? You had tried to help Vinod in his mission! Tricked us to join in my gang, and started gathering about my hideouts information and chains of my illegal business networks. Do you really think? I'm a fool to believe you! , And I'm not aware of you are a spy to Officer Vinod! , I knew everything about you from the moment you made your entry in my gang, and I have just acted oblivious of your originality to catch hold of you at the right time"The mysterious man replied calmly while stroking his handgun pretending to dust off the invisible dust on it.

The man looked at him shockingly, but nevertheless, doesn't show up on his face.

" Because of you Vinod almost reached out to me and he left us with no choices, but had to kill him cruelly. Let me tell you a secret, I made his car blast at the valley on that day itself, when he had gathered information about me, poor soul had to die unnecessarily without any connection with me" the man said innocently.

Listening to him, the victim's blood boiled and he shouted in agony, " Sikander Dalal, I won't leave you! How dare you!? I kill you now! Let me come out of your clutches and I will show you the real pain, Man".

"How dare me! Do you really want to know, how dare I'm? Then listen, Well, I had dared to kill so many people in your department brutally in the past and I will do in the future too, and just like always, you guys can't even find a trace about me" Sikander replied arrogantly thinking about his deeds.

"I won't leave you, You bloody ba****d will kill you " The man tries to wriggle out to break the chains that are tied him down.

" To kill me, you should alive on this earth Spy David and I'm gonna take your life right now to end your painful tortures that you are undergoing from last 4 days" Sikander replied cunningly.

David smiled at him like his words are not affecting his strong soul and looked intently at Sikander.

Whereas Sikander has raised his eyebrows amazingly and raised his handgun towards David's heart pulled the trigger to end his life.

"He will come and catch you! And yeah, don't forget he will take away your life too!" David replied proudly before leaving this earth forever.

Sikander is shocked listening to his last words, he wants to know who he was referring to, so he shouted in anger and started to shake his lifeless body, "Who is he? Who is he? Bloody damn it, tell me".

The other man who is watching everything from the moment his boss started revealing secrets to David till killing him was frustrated the way he is behaving madly on David's body and shouting is the height of his stupidity, to make him come out of his madness, he pulled his hand ruggedly.

"Sikander, he is dead! " The other man replied irritated.

Sikander looked at him murderously, "I do know, Atlaf but he was referring someone else "

"He was blabbering due to the drugs and you shouldn't worry about it, he was dead and you closed all the gates to reach out to you" Atlaf replied confidently.

"Was he referring to 'Arjun'? He was super confident about the person, and don't forget a person could never lie when he was taking his last breaths." Sikander said confidently, thinking about his last words.

"Arjun is working at the ETF, and You had confirmed that he hasn't joined his previous job just two days ago, Do you think within two days anything would have changed?"Atlaf tried to explain Sikander who is in tension.

" Yes, you are right!" Sikander replied absent-mindedly still not believing Atlaf comforting words.

"Clear the body!" Atlaf ordered to their henchmen who are standing at the entrance while looking at David's lifeless body.

Sikander walking here and there to ease the confusion which was seeded by David, suddenly he jumped in happiness thinking about his evil plan.

"Let's play a game," Sikander said trickly.

"Game?" Atlaf looked confused for his sudden mood change.

"A very old game of hurting Arjun!" Sikander said interestingly.

Looking at Atlaf's face, which is written in confusion, he thought to clear his doubts without asking.

"I'm not convinced that Arjun hasn't returned to his previous job and if we send any man for stalking him would take time to gather information till then Arjun might have reached to me and to us. So let's attack Arjun to stop him to an extent and using this time we would identify the person whom David was referring " Sikander replied in a calculative manner to make his plan successful.

"Why it is Arjun? How can you so sure that the person being 'Arjun'?, and If your instincts are so true, why don't you kill him permanently instead of planning a minor attack?" Atlaf questioned him annoyingly for his half baked answers.

"Arjun has all the capabilities to track down me and he has an intention to reach me as well. About Killing him permanently, no I can't give the leverage of killing him in peace. He has to die when he has everything in this world, but I will snatch everything brutally from him and make him suffer before killing him." Sikander said with a passion.

"Wow, It seems you have picturized everything in the mind to snatch his life," Atlaf said in an amazed tone.

"My Arjun baby deserves at least this much attention from me!" Sikander replied cunningly.

After listening to his plans, Atlaf laughed out along with Sikander to join him.

"Send four hitmen from here, Instruct them to attack him, when he is alone and yeah, ask them to trick him with your name and he will come runningly to make our work easy. After Arjun's hospitalization, the ETF would be undertaking this case, so make 4 local Mumbai goons to surrender for the attempted murder of ACP Arjun exactly after 3 days of his attack not before than that. This information should not be leaked to anyone, not even your right hand Salim, who is at Chennai now!. Are we clear?" Sikander instructed him each point to execute the plan of attacking Arjun.

"But Why my name? Don't they get suspicious if my name is taken from Mumbai goons?!" Atlaf asked baffled thinking about his plans.

"Everyone in the police department knows your enmity with ACP Arjun's, and even If some random people using your name for Arjun's attack, they would belive them with closed eyes, and instead of checking the background of those goons they will be busy in punishing them unnecessarily., and we should use their weakness to our victory, Sikander said confidently.

"Master plan, Ahaan! ," Atlaf said delightfully listening to the plans.

"Always" Sikander replied with a proud smile.

~Outside Mr.Rawte cabin~

Riya is looking at Arjun without blinking her eyes whereas Arjun still nursing her even so many trails of stopping him that she is alright, but Arjun is not ready to believe her instead concentrated on the forehead.

Zain, who was going to his cabin after talking to Rathod amazed to see the scene in front of him. He thought to tease Arjun a bit because often you won't always get a chance to pull a leg of the mighty Arjun Suryakant Rawte. He turned around to see anyone is there around luckily he couldn't spot a single human at this place.

"Ahem" Zain fake coughed to bring them out of their magical spell.

Riya scared looking at the strange man who is looking at them with a poker face, so she suddenly pushed Arjun from her personal space and turned away from him and started adjusting her hair and dress out of nervousness.

Arjun suddenly loses contact with her warmth when she pushed him in fear. He turned his head to see the interrupter of their moment, scaring Riya.

Zain is grinning ear to ear with raised eyebrows. Waiting for Arjun to speak up.

"What it is? Stop grinning like a fool!" Arjun uttered irritatingly looking at the Zain's teasing face.

Riya couldn't stand in that place after looking at that stranger so she ran off towards her team who is a little far away from her location.

Arjun is watching Riya's moving figure instead of replying to Zain. He laughed out loud to bring Arjun's attention to him.

"Who is she?" Zain asked cheekily.

"Riya, She works with me in an ETF, and my subordinate " Arjun replied calmly with folded hands like challenging Zain.

"Ohh, not bad and Thanks to my stars " Zain replied happily with hidden meaning in it.

"What?" Arjun screamed at him for his stupid remark.

"She is beautiful, Man. No, No, scratch that She is a gorgeous lady and I'm flat on her looks, so," Zain said dreamingly pausing for a moment.

"So?" Arjun questioned out of breath

"I'm planning to ask her out for a date, Simple!" Zain replied blushingly to irritate Arjun further.

"You were what?" Arjun asked ragingly.

"Ask her out a date!" Zain replied all smilingly.

"Don't dare to ask her out! She won't be taking an interest in you!" Arjun warned him rudely.

"Why? I'm also a good looking man, and I know how to convince a beautiful and gorgeous lady!" Zain challenged him rubbing off Arjun's ego.

Arjun fisted his hand tightly to control the anger, otherwise, he would have broken Zain's jaw and face for daring him.

Zain smiled wickedly, "Stop murdering me in your mind and I don't take interest in someone who is already into someone else."

Arjun looked at him confused. So Zain continued, "I do know with whom she is interested in, and I really want that the other person also takes interest in her soon before someone else takes her away".

"BTW, You look so cute and grumpy when you are jealous! What a sight to watch it, man! , I'm totally loving it!" Zain is back to the playful mood of teasing Arjun.

"I'm not jealous! Stop wandering of your brain for useless things!" Arjun replied while making faces.

"I believe you Arjun, Oops, Arjun sir" Zain reacted.

Arjun glared hard at him, started to walk with him to Zain's cabin. Before Zain eats his brain and feeds some unnecessary things on his mind.

Zain smiles genuinely to look at Arjun, without any worry lines for some moments.

~Zain Cabin~

Zain is hesitating to talk for a few mins, thinking of the consequences and Arjun's reaction to that.

"Okay, okay, I will let the truth out. Initially, I got a call before the attack from some unknown people that they will attack my boss and his family. At the start, I reckoned thinking it was a fake call to stop the deal in our organization. But it turned out to be true at last. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have ignored that call and threatening." Zain replied guiltily to Arjun who is ready to kill him for hiding the biggest truth of his parent's attack.

"I knew, I should have told this to the Commissioner but I feel this would alert the criminals and I don't want that to happen" Zain replied honestly.

The worry lines started to form on Arjun's forehead, He doesn't know who is behind on his parents, this is the exact reason he wants them to stay away from him even though it hurts him immensely. He is somewhat confident that Sikander is not involved in this, if he did the attack the outcome would have been brutal and vicious not this kind of failed attempt and this threatens calls, and Sikander is not totally aware of his parent's existence. He concluded this might be his father's business rivals.

"Who are all behind this deal? Do you find anyone suspicious in our office? Any new person joined our office during this 3 to 6 months and they are totally into our office, I meant extra curious to know everything about the organization, but not a genuine way!" Arjun queried to clarify his cloud of doubts.

"Mr.Govind Shinde from Shinde industries, Mr.Karthik Nair from Nair industries are two people who eager to this contract." Zain pointed out the names of the direct rivals.

"New head is Mr.Siddarth Shetty, who joined exactly 4 months ago as a project and design level head and he falls under the category of the curious and cunning individual, who trying to learn everything about our company. Even I don't like him most of the time, because of his over involving nature. He would behave strangely whenever someone entering his cabins and touching his office laptops and the list goes on, "Zain replied irritatingly thinking about his odd behavior.

Arjun smirked at the revelations about their new project's head and he phoned Rathod to join him at Zain's cabin along with other ETF members.

" Call Mr.Shetty, and ask him to come here for a discussion about design " Arjun instructed Zain.

Zain nodded his head before calling him.

~After 20 mins~

ETF and Zain are waiting for Siddarth to come, by then Arjun explained to them whatever Zain told him a while ago, and asked they don't make obvious of their doubts on Siddarth. Everyone agreed with him understandingly.

Siddarth arrived lazily with an uninterested face, but he changed his expression when he saw so many people in Zain's cabin and he could fathom who are they! And their sudden visit to the office, but he behaved like innocent.

"Hey Zain, you called me up! Who are they?" He asked looking at everyone in the room, though he knew them.

Arjun and ETF smirked at his acting skills but kept silent to observe him more.

"You forget our Boss's son ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte? and these people are his co-workers " Zain introduced everyone in the room including Arjun.

Arjun walked towards Siddarth and stood in front of him.

"Siddarth Shetty, Glad to meet you" Siddharth faked a smile at him.

"ACP Arjun, Nice to meet you!" Arjun introduced himself as the same emotions as Siddarth.

"You are the one who left this empire and joined the force right? What a waste of time!" Siddarth questioned piteously.

The entire team looked at him disgusting, but they are amazed to see Arjun's calmness.

"Yeah, it is a waste of my time talking to someone who is not worthy of it, and Usually at this hour in my office, I will be interrogating criminals in my own style, but see now I'm wasting my time with you!" Arjun started to fist his hand tightly showing his strong muscles like he is going to punch him.

Siddarth looked at him horrified and the other members smile inwardly looking Arjun style of answering.

"I have some work in my cabin, See you around" Siddarth ran out of the cabin to hide his fear.

Zain laughed out looking at him, thus made Choree join with him for laughing sessions.

Rathod gave an irritating look to the Choree that made them shut their mouth.

"Sree, start to track his mobile number to identify any mysterious call and Chotu, Stalk him to get to know his activities" Arjun ordered them.

"We will go to Mr.Shetty and Mr.Nair home to investigate, Rawte!?" Rathod asked him hopingly to help Arjun. He almost thought Arjun is going to dismiss them in this case until he called them up to Zain's cabin.

"Not today, once we gather proof against them!" Arjun announced his decision.

"You are right, Ayesha and Riya try to gather information about them as much as possible" Rathod ordered them.

Everyone left the room except Arjun, cause he is waiting to instruct Zain about the precautions.

"We will try to expose the attackers and till then any suspicious activity near Dad, you must inform me without delay!" Arjun ordered him.

"Sure I will" Zain replied agreeing with Arjun.

At Rawte's Mansion.

~Around 7.00 PM~

Mr.and Mrs.Rawte is waiting in the lobby for Arjun. Mr.Rawte is praying God to bring his son here, If not his wife would be heartbroken thinking that Arjun is drifting away from them in the process of securing and protecting their lives.

"He will come, Don't be anxious Aadhirai", Mr.Rawte replied with the uncertainty of Arjun's visit

" I believe so, Surya" She replied sadly.

Both of their conversion is interrupted by the sound of footsteps. They were pleasantly surprised to see Arjun in their house, because whenever they came from Newyork he used to meet them at some hotels, an airport, but never visited them at home scaring about their security.

A Peaceful silence prevailed in the room, Mrs.Rawte couldn't stop her so hug his son in happiness.

"I really missed you Arjju!" She said hugging him tightly in her motherly embrace relishing the moments.

"I too missed you Mom" Arjun replied in a breathless tone while hugging her tightly.

For this moment and to embrace her mother, how many days he yearned as a son yet controlling himself to protect them is sheer torture. Now he is happy to meet them and to spend time with them, at least until the case solves.

Arjun feels his shirt getting wet by his mother's tears thus making him guilty for his behavior, but the situation made him act against his heart to stay away from his parents.

"Who are you, Man? You just came now and made my wife cry!" Mr.Rawte asked Arjun in fake anger.

"Excuse me, Mr, I'm talking to my mother and if you any problem in staying here, you can leave the place and I and my mom don't have any objection, what Mom?" Arjun asked her mother playfully.

"Stay away from my wife, Man!" Mr.Rawte said irritatingly seeing his wife cry.

Mrs.Rawte came out of the hug and glared at both men, "You guys should be in some drama company instead of choosing business and force".

Both men laughed out, stylishly, in the same manner, making the mother's heart swell with satisfaction. Arjun tried to wipe her mother's tears so moved to touch her face, but stopped by a rougher hand compared to him.

"She is my wife, I can take care of her!" With that Mr.Rawte started to clean his lady tears carefully.

Both son and mother laugh at him. Arjun scrutinized his eyes look at his dad's black eyes," Don't tell me, you are jealous of your own son, Mr.Suryakant Rawte"

"Whatever" Mr.Rawte muttered not replying Arjun's teasing question.

Mrs.Rawte turned her attention to her beloved son who is laughing without any worry or tension.

"How are you Arjju?" She asked touching the wound on his forehead, which was sealed with medical tape.

"I'm good, it's nothing Mom" Arjun replied, not looking at his mother's deep brown eyes.

"I can see that!" She replied rudely for his carelessness.

"I will go and freshen up to join dinner!" Arjun replied avoiding his mother's questioning eyes and left to his room which is on the first floor of the mansion.

~After dinner~

Arjun has clad in a forest green vest with an ash color full sleeve T-shirt and sitting with his parents in the lobby after dinner in the peaceful silence.

"Do you suspect anyone, Dad?" Arjun questioned his dad.

"Mr.Shetty & Mr.Nair in India, but New York I have a big list " He replied as a matter fact making Arjun irritated.

Arjun sighed loudly for his dad's 'I don't care' attitude.

All of a sudden Arjun mobile started to ring interrupting their talks.

"Hello".

"ACP Arjun, listen carefully! , I have a lead for Atlaf hideout, If you honestly need it, Do come out of your mansion within 10 mins, but alone," the caller said.

"How can I believe you?" Arjun asked him doubtfully yet he wants the information to be true.

"I have sent you a pic in your WhatsApp! , After seeing it, if you believe me, come out, I will be waiting for you only 10 mins!".

The caller replied as the way he was trained for this activity and sent the pics which were told to send Arjun.

The line went dead without waiting for his reply, hurriedly he started to search his WhatsApp for any pics, as the way the caller said he got some pics in which Atlaf is training some men for a chemical mixture of a bomb explosion. Arjun eyes wide with the revelations this stops his logical mind to think about checking the pics originality or asking Raj to track the number are taking a back seat. Arjun stood from his place, forgetting to take his gun.

"What happened?" his father asked him with concern.

"I will be back in a while, till then you guys stay here" Arjun ordered them literally to stop his dad following behind him.

"Informer call?" Mr.Rawte questioned him unsurely.

"I'm not supposed to tell you my job secrets, Dad "Arjun replied rudely, because of his overprotective nature that is ticking away the limited time he has to get the lead to Atlaf.

"Take your gun and go, at least " Mr.Rawte advised him

"I don't have time for that " He ran out of the mansion all the way replying to his dad.

~Outside Mansion~

Arjun out of the gate started to walk for 2 mins to find any human in the isolated lane and saw one man walking towards his direction but his face closed with a mask. The Masked man came and stood in front of Arjun.

"Your proofs" Masked man gave him some bunch of photos, Before Arjun took hold of the pics, he loosely scatters the pics on the ground deliberately. Arjun bent down to take the pic as they planned, taking this as an opportunity suddenly he injected the drug in Arjun neck ruthlessly, as the first step towards injuring Arjun.

When Arjun felt that man tricked him, he started the hit the masked man badly, but every passing second his hold on that man is getting loosen due to the drug effect on his body, using this chance he signaled the other 3 members to come out of their hideouts.

Masked man took his sharp knife which he kept in his jacket, he slid the knife to Arjun's stomach brutally at the same time someone from behind hit Arjun's head with the wood hardly that making Arjun lose his consciousness fully. Blood started to ooze on the head, stomach heavily and top of that the drug is making him faint, so he couldn't cry out or call someone for help. Before leaving Arjun's lifeless body the masked men twisted his right hand for punching him.

"Bye ACP, see you soon at my boss territory ".

While leaving the place, they broke the gas bomb to create a fake smoke that could cover the area for 15 to 20 min, using this they vanished from that place.

~Back to Arjun's Mansion~

Mr.Rawte is walking in the hallway to erase the nervousness, he feels something is not right and it's been 30 mins Arjun hasn't come back, which is making his uneasy feelings to grow more.

"This man is a stubborn head, Ahh" Mr.Rawte shouted in anger

"Just like you!" Mrs.Rawte added more.

"I'm going to see him and you stay here" He almost jogged towards the gate.

She looked at the husband worryingly.

~Back to lane~

Arjun is lying down in his pool of blood on the ground. Mr.Rawte is coming out of the gate and saw unusual smoke lingers in the air, but the density is less, the fear is starting to engulf him as time passes not seeing his son, so he walked further to spot Arjun. He walked 5 mins away from his mansion and looking around to see his son.

Suddenly his eyes caught one figure who is laying on the ground on his stomach in a pool of blood. He couldn't walk, his knees are giving up thinking about the face of the man. He is praying to god badly that the man shouldn't be his son. In a swift of the moment, he turned the man to see his face clearly, he slumped on the ground looking at Arjun face. Arjun is drenched with his blood and barely breathing with no conscious.

He took hold of Arjun's face with tears streaming down on his eyes without any control and he started to wipe the blood on his face carefully.

"Arjun"

He roared like a wounded lion looking at his son's condition. Effortlessly, he lifted the Arjun's half-unconscious body in his arms and started to run towards his mansion hurriedly. Once he reaches the gates of his mansion.

"Guards, Security, " he shouted on top of his lungs to invite everyone.

Aadhirai came out of the mansion after listening to his painful scream and all the guards came out hearing his boss scream. Their heart broke looking at the scene in front of them his boss holding Arjun's lifeless body.

"Get the car ready, " he shouted at the driver.

Aadhirai looking at the scene breathlessly looking both important men of her life with pain, especially her son, and fear and anxiety are engulfing making her think in a negative way.

"He will be alright!" He comforted her, he is not sure whether he is telling this to Arjun's mother or his wife or himself.

Till then his guards brought the car from the basements.

"He made Arjun lie down on his mother's lap carefully at the back seat of the car and he took the driver seat to drive the car.

" Please wake up Arjju" She is crying hysterically seeing his condition.

He started the engine of his black BMW, and the car was running at a high speed, behind him his personal bodyguards are following them after informing Zain about this incident.

Lifeline Hospital.

The whole hospital is at the doorstep after getting a call from Mr. Rawte PA. The car reached the office premises within 15 mins, during the whole car drive Mrs.Rawte is crying bitterly holding Arjun's face. Mr.Rawte stopped the car at the gate asking doctors to treat him immediately.

He lifted Arjun from the car and made him lie down on the stretcher, nurses connected oxygen mask to support his breathing and wheeled him towards the OT. Soon Arjun was taken to OT to treat his injuries.

~After 20 mins~

The head doctor came out of the OT with the worried face along with the nurses. Seeing the doctor coming with a worried expression induces a bad feeling to Mr & Mrs. Rawte and Zain, who accompanied them after getting a call from Rawte's personal guards.

Dr. Rudra explained looking at the patient's parents "Mr.Rawte, your son is injured nastily at the stomach, Some people deliberately forced drugs before attacking him that would have made him fragile to the extent, and top of that the knife was touched his right side lungs that made his blood clot in lungs, and his head injury is minimal as compared to the stomach without any internal bleeding in the brain."

Mrs.Rawte is crying badly listening to the doctor, he holds her shoulders to calm her a bit, though he is crying inside.

Dr.Rudra paused for a moment before explaining Arjun's condition," His right-hand bone is slightly dislocated, we try to subside down his drug effect before treating him fully and the first-aids are done that make him breathe with the oxygen support. We will start our operation to treat his injury on the stomach and lungs, the head injury doesn't require any major operating some stitches are necessary to close the wound mouth and at last, we will treat his bone dislocation."

"Will he be alright Dr?" Mr.Rawte questioned him thirstily.

"We will try our best Mr.Rawte and don't worry!"

"I need this 4th floor needs to be empty right now, I will pay for this floor entirely, and this would be taken under control by ETF within few hours for security reasons" Mr.Rawte ordered like no room for arguments.

Looking at the determination in his eye Doctor nodded his head with no option left and goes back to the OT.

Mr.Rawte turned his head and said," Call ETF chief and inform him about Arjun".

Zain nodded his head and dialed Rathod's number.

~After 4 hours~

The whole ETF is present along with the Arjun's family and Zain, and Mr.Rawte personal guards all over the hospital along with the police who were assigned by Rathod.

Everyone is worried about Arjun's safety, he is being taken to OT 4 hours ago and no sign of doctors making everyone wait anxiously. Choree looking at Riya's blank face without any emotions, they thought she would cry, shout, and scream looking at Arjun's condition, but she is behaving the total opposite of her caring nature for Arjun and didn't even shed a single tear her from the time she came along with Choree to the hospital.

The doctor came outside of the OT making others run towards them including ETF. The doctor smiled at them and said, "The operation was successful, and he is unconscious due to sedatives and we have injected pain killer to reduce the pain, it will take another 14 to 15 hours to gain consciousness due to drug neutralizer and you can meet him after shifting him to the ward but only 2 people not more than that ".

"Thank you so much Dr, you didn't know whom you saved in our life! No words to say my gratitude.!" Mr.Rawte smiled through his tears.

Everyone sighed in relief listening doctor. After 20 mins Mr & Mrs.Rawte go to see Arjun. As soon as they went to see him, Riya moved out of the place to calm her mind, but she didn't know her best friends are following her until she reached the corridor end.

"Ri" Sree called out her name softly

"Riya" Chotu shook her shoulders to bring her back to earth, who is staring at the empty walls aimlessly.

She turned her head and looked at them confusingly for few mins for shouting her name.

"You are barely reacting to us! Riya, Are you.. you okay? Sree questioned her, though he can see she is not all okay.

"Yeah ...Yeah, 'I'm.. I'm good, Sree" Riya mumbled under her breath.

"But" Sree stopped abruptly when Riya showed him her back of her hand indicating him to stop.

"I want to be alone for some time, Please" Riya whispered under her breath.

Choree looked at her helpless face for a few secs before leaving her with the empty walls.

~Inside Arjun's Room~

Arjun's parents moved to his room with bated breath, the scene front of them is heart-wrenching for Arjun's parents to see their son in the hospital bed with no conscious. Arjun's lean body is covered with numerous machines and so many needles are pricking his hard skin and his handsome face is covered with the oxygen mask. His head, stomach, and his right hand are covered with big medical bandages and his right hand injected with an IV and his index finger is clipped with a pulse oximeter to see his heart ratings.

Aadhirai started to cry heavily looking at her son, who is battling for life. She moved to Arjun bed, caress his hairs softly, and kissed his forehead. She started to run outside before she breaks down in the CCU, Mr.Suryakant held her tightly nodded his head like 'No'. She wriggles out of her husband's clutches and left the room runningly.

Once she was out of the room, Mr.Rawte looked at his son's pale face, tears clouded his vision without control, just like Aadhirai he also caressed his hair softly and mumbled," Get well soon my boy". He has to leave the place because he is having the task of composing his beloved wife.

~Outside the CCU~

Mr.Suryakant saw the whole ETF is standing outside except Riya, and his wife is sitting outside in the wooden chair which is placed in the corridors of the floor.

"He is alright, you guys can leave" Mr.Suryakant replied to Rathod who is looking in tension and sad for his friend.

"Nope, We will wait till he gains consciousness, and What if he is attacked again? , and we will cover this whole floor and the hospital for security reasons" Rathod replied cautiously.

"You wish" Mr.Rawte replied rudely, he couldn't term with this man till even after two years. Still, his words are ringing in his ears, the way he blamed Arjun for Roshini murder. He could never forgive someone who blamed his son without any fault or any reason.

Including everyone, Ayesha gasped inwardly for the way Mr.Rawte replied to Rathod, and they could understand it has to be something personal so they are not gelling up. Though Rathod he's hurt, but doesn't show it on his face, instructed Chotu to increase the security and they all settled in the lobby which is little away from Arjun's room.

~At the corrioder~

Arjun's mother is crying in the corridors and Arjun's father wiping her tears and said," Please Don't cry Aadhirai, Our Arjun is alright and he will gain conscious soon If you get sick due to crying who will take care of your Laadla beta?, and I certainly don't want your son to blame me for not taking care of his mother when he is hospitalized. So be quiet and everything will be alright".

He said the last part playfully to make her understand and she gave him a small smile listening to her husband and he wiped off her tears.

~Around 2.00 PM in the midnight~

Mr & Mrs.Rawte are sitting outside Arjun's room since no one was allowed in CCU, and other people accompanied the seats in the lobby, except Riya who is away for a long time. Ayesha and Liza asked Choree for Riya, but after hearing her reply from them, they thought to leave her some time alone.

Riya is coming from the other corridor when she felt no one is watching her including Arjun's parents who are sitting with closed eyes, least she knew they are not sleeping but still, she couldn't stop herself, so she stealthily started to go inside Arjun room.

~Arjun's Room~

When she enters the room her breath came to stop just like it did several years ago, when she saw him in the hospital bed for the first time, when she didn't realize her love for him. Just like that day, his handsome face is masked with an oxygen mask, and big medical bandages on his head, Stomach, and his right hand, She could see this injury is quite high compared to that day. She couldn't name the things which are covered his body, all the sorts of wires and machines, his right hand injected with IV along with pulse Oximeter to show her that he is still fragile to breathe on his own.

She feels her knees give up and the control she had not to cry in front of anyone broke, and tears started to stream down making her cheeks wet. She clasped her hand tightly around her mouth not to make a wailing sound. With a baby step, she moved towards his bed and sat on the chair, afraid of touching him with her soft hand thinking that it would hurt his delicate body now. She carefully took hold of his IV injected hand which is connected with a pulse oximeter, stroked carefully thinking that this will ease the physical pain he is going through now.

It's been half-hour she came inside the room looking at Arjun with glistening eyes and stroking his hair softly to ease the worry line on his forehead. The way she looks at him without blinking as if she blinks her eye, he would vanish from her sight. When she felt any time a doctor or nurse could bark into this room, she planned to leave the room with no heart, but she has to go before someone caught her red-handed. She softly kissed Arjun's bandaged forehead delicately not hurting in any way and mumbled.

"I can't lose you again, Arjun. I'm afraid if you leave me this time, I will shatter into pieces where no one can fix me again".

With tears rolling down, she dashed outside of the room praying that others should not spot her, But it's too late Mr.Rawte was watching her from the moment she enters to Arjun's room. Actually, he was pretending to close his eyes, when she was coming from the corridor with the swollen eyes.

He is looking at the retreating figure of her, he adjusted his wife's sleeping figure in the wooden chair and started to follow the woman who is worried about his son.

~The other side of corridors~

Mr.Rawte is looking at the woman who is clad in simple cotton salwar and her hair is misplaced and her eyes are swollen with heavy crying, her face is barren of any emotion but her eyes spoke volume.

"Ahem" Mr.Rawte cleared his throat to make her know his presence next to her.

Riya startled by the sudden noise in the empty place, she quickly wiped off her remaining tears and looked at him confused. Mr. Rawte forwarded the teacup to her, Riya quietly took hold of the cup without speaking up.

Silence prevailed for some time making Riya nervous with Mr.Rawte.

"What is your name?," Mr.Rawte asked sipping his tea.

Riya is not meeting his deep black eyes looked at the ground before replying.

"Riya Mukherjee, Sir" Riya replied meekly fearing his anger, cause she knew why he came all the way to interrogate her.

"Don't call me Sir, I'm not your boss or head of ETF that you are addressing me Sir" Mr.Rawte replied playfully to ease her hesitation.

Riya smiled at him politely as she didn't know how to reply to this question or how to address him.

"Wipe your tears, it doesn't look good on your face and I guess someone who is very close to me also doesn't like tears in your eyes," Mr.Rawte said concerned looking at her face which is red due to weeping.

"Who?" Riya looked up at him puzzled.

"I'm sure, You do know whom I'm referring to! Don't you?".

Riya is silent, has no idea how to reply to him? , Neither she can agree with him, nor can deny him.

"I ... don't understand" she lied hesitatingly.

Mr.Rawte chuckled at the way she is trying to lie but failing miserably.

"Love gives all the strength to humans that makes pain turns into a cure, like magic, and he will make it through this and It will make him stronger than ever" Mr.Rawte comforted her with his hidden words and assured her that Arjun would be alright.

"I desperately want the same thing to happen" Riya whispered to herself looking at the empty teacup.
