CHAPTER 15:

By the time Ariyan reached the resthouse Everybody went to sleep except Sameer. Sameer was waiting in the sofa. He entered and straight went to him.

Ariya: Sorry sir. Main Sakshi pe najar nehi rakh pya. Woh itna tufaan...

Sameer hold up a hand to shut him.

Sameer: Mujhe koi bahana nehi sunna. Dammit. Agar aaj usse kuch ho jata to? Ek kaam bhi tumse thik se nehi hota. Agese mujhe tum Sakshi ke aas paas bhi nehi dikhne chahye.

Ariyan: But sir...

Sameer: No but. Now go and sleep.

Ariyan went away with heavy heart. He knew he scrwed up. Now Sameer will never send him with Sakshi. He will have to think out a plan.

Meanwhile Sameer was still in drawingroom. Deep in thought.

Sameer (in mind): I know Ariyan that you love Sakshi but it's about my sister's happiness. If she is happy with Arjun then I won't let you come between them.

Next morning Arjun was in jogg while he noticed a big crowd infront of the sarpanch's house. He got curious and went there. He saw one middle aged man and asked him.

Arjun: Chacha ji yaha itna bheer kiyu hai?

Man: Aur kya kahu beta. Sarpanch ji ne atmahatya kar liya hai. Papo ka bojh aur uthya nehi ja raha tha.

Arjun became shocked.

Arjun: Kya? But aapko kaise pata? I mean kaise?

Man: ETF wale aye hai na? Wohlog unpe najar rakhne aye the. Unke sare papo ka fanda phodne aye the. To usse yeh sab bardasht nehi hua aur ussne atmahatya kar lya. Karan, Simran and Piyali was also in the crowd. After some inspecting they separated from there.

Karan: Aab aur kya? Uss sarpanch ne atmahatya kar liya hai. Aab hamara kam bhi yaha khatam hua. To aab hame Mumbai wapas chale jana chahye.

Arjun: Yeh koi atmahatya nehi hai Karan. Yeh ek khun hai.

Piyali: But tum yeh kaise keh sakte ho? Ussne ek note bhi choda hai.

Arjun: Maine usse baat ki hai. Jo insaan English mein thikse wellcome nehi bolsakta woh English mein pura ka pura note kaise likh sakta hai? And other than the note he didn't strike me as a suicidial type. He was haughty and arrogant. He can't suicide.

Now that gave them a thread to think.

Karan: You are right Shera. Par yaha sabhi gaowale hai. Itna planning ke saath khun karna in logo ki baas ki baat nehi hai.

Arjun: You are right Karan. Woh jo koi bhi hai bohot shatir hai. Aur aab tak to yaha se ja chuka hoga. You are right. Haame yaha aur koi kaam nehi hai. Haame yaha se jana chahye.

Everybody became happy. They were not liking staying here. Piyali became extra happy. She thought that now Arjun won't be able to meet that girl anymore.

Piyali: Good very good. Aab woh ladki hamare beech nehi aa sakti. Tum sirf meri ho.

When Sameer heard the news he became shocked. He along with his whole team reached the place. They saw the note and body. As the murder had been done with extra care and precaution they didn't find anything faulty. Sameer declared it as a suicide and ordered the police to take the body in morgue.

It was time to leave. Everybody packed their belongings and ready to leave. They will leave in one hour. Before leaving Sakshi wanted to meet Arjun just once. So, she slipped out from the house and went to the house Arjun was staying. But it was locked. No trace of any living thing in miles. She became very sad. She sat on the porch. She just wanted to say him good bye. God knows when they will meet again. Her heart was feeling very heavy. Tears were forming in her eyes. She started sobbing. Couldn't Arjun met her once before leaving? He could've at least send a message. She came here with so much hope. Suddenly she felt a hand in her shoulder. She jumped out and turned. It was Arjun. She got up, quickly wiped out her tears and hugged him tightly.

Seeing her tears he became worried. He packed his belongings and went to the resthouse to met her. But couldn't find her there. So, he assumed she would be here. When he came here she was sobbing. His heart went out to him see her like this.

Arjun enquired in worried tone.

Arjun: Kya hua Sakshi? Tum ro kiyu rahi thi?

Sakshi: Mujhe laga ki tum mujhse mile bina hi chale gye.

Arjun: Are pagli. Main bhala tumse mile bina kaise ja sakta hoom? Main to ulta resthouse gyi thi tumse milne.

Hearing this Sakshi became happy like a child. She hugged him more tightly If it was possible.

Arjun chuckled seeing her like this. He parted a little and chin her up. He gave her a head to toe look. His eyes became dark.

She was wearing a blood red anarkali with churidar. Both hands were as usual full of bangles. Matching ruby ear rings and pendent. A cute red bindi in her forhead. She was looking like a bride.

Arjun caressed her cheek and keep staring at her. Sakshi became shy and lower her head.

Arjun: You are so beautiful. Maan kar raha hai abhi tumse shadi kar loon.

Sakshi: Arjuuun..

She blushed deep red and hide her face in his chest. He hugged her back and kept her to him with as much force as possible. Perhaps seeing the dead body of sarpanch poked a dreading fear inside him he was trying hard to hide. His hand clenched in fists behind her back. He will have to win in this fight. He can't effort to loose Sakshi andd his teammates. But he can't do it alone. He will have to win this fight staying behind the certain with as much alies he can gather. Including Sameer. He will have to talk to him.

Suddenly Sakshi's phone buzzed. Sakshi checked the caller ID. It was from Aisha.

Sakshi: Arjun mera jane ka waqt ho gya hai.

Arjun just nodded. He didn't trust his voice the pain of separation was visible in both of their face. Arjun kissed her softly then loosen his hold.

Sakshi bid him goodbye and went back to the resthouse. Arjun kept looking at her until she disappear. Then he turned around and went to the place where he parked his car.
