If Anuj is Malti Devi’s son then I don’t think that he is illegitimate child. MD hates the idea of family because according to her husband and kids are barrier in full filling a woman’s dream.

So maybe for her carrier she left her husband and kid at home. Than her husband left the kid at orphanage for some reason or something happened to him or else kapadiya’s doesn’t have a child back then so he give the child for adoption.

Maybe Anuj father was working for kapadiya’s.

Malti Devi is so insincere towards Anupama’s children and husband so she definitely doesn’t feel guilty for leaving her child behind.

How anuj will accept her as his mother after 45+ years. He is not a kid now. No one can come and say “hey, I am your mother who left you 45 years ago for my career and dreams. How odd it will look.

So I don’t want MD as Anuj mother.

Btw, it is so weird that Anuj’s story started with him being an orphan with nobody except GK as his caretaker. Now he has an entire family - sister, parents, cousins.It is only matter of time that his grandparents, uncles and aunts show up. Unknowingly, he must’ve sired few children too. Ridiculous

One thing for sure know that Anuj kapadia adopted father name was Anil kapadia . And his bio father is probably the new guy entry ,his name is nikhil parmer
