That's a very valid point that the child can be under pressure. Another thing even if the child is happy at the moment, the consequences of the type of problems people like Leela present before the children show up as the child grows up. I'm childhood, it's easy to forget but the subconscious mind doesn't forget.

On a different note, it's not an accurate comparison too.

Though the world knows that Yashoda was Krishna's foster parent, Yashoda herself didn't know that until it was time for Krishna to leave her. So she loved him assuming he was her own child and not adopted.

Janak-Sunayana for Sita and Adhirath-Radha for Karna are more legit parents who adopted the respective child with full awareness and treated the children like their own.

Bold: I was waiting for someone to point that out. But Yashoda has become cliche so they mindlessly use it😆

Sita was a female and Karna was not hero so their side of story matters less to people. Krishna is people's favourite. Hence his story matters more to people. The world cares for Sita only as Rama's wife.

Regarding Yashoda anupama ne yeh line boli thi ki Yashoda ne kanha ko janam nahi diya tha but duniya kanha ko Yashoda ka beta maanti hai

Anupama want to say ki kisi ka bacha hone le liye khoon ka rishta hona jaroori nahi hai So I don't understand how does this line prove ki anupama ne apne aapko Yashoda ya aur kisi mythological character se compare Kiya ki woh duniya ki main mein sabse achi Maa Hai

Actually almost all famous children knowingly adopted in mythology were women, like Sita, Shakuntala, Kunti, Satyawati etc.

Even Dasharath-Kaushalya gave away Ram's sister Shanta to Kaushalya's childless sister and BIL. The daughter was given away even though Dasharath had 4 sons.

Tells us a lot about how much women are "wanted" in our history and mythology. No wonder Leela's character has not attracted any controversy inspite of her many regressive acts against Anupamaa, Kavya, Kinjal, Nandini and even Pakhi.
