One of the most popular producers in the telly world, Deeya and Tony Singh of DJ's A Creative Unit are all set to hit off with a brand new show Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah this Monday on Star One. Makers of some of the popular shows television like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Left Right Left, Banegi Apni Baat and other off beat shows, once again they are ready to serve a new flavour…. quite literally.

Their forthcoming daily which will be telecasted Monday to Thursday, introduces a cast of fresh faces with Srrejita De playing the main lead Annu, who's debut was a forgettable role in Kasuati Zindagi Ki. The show is about a timid Annu who has an endearing talent she possesses to cheer to the saddest soul and melt the hardest heart with any dish she cooks. The show also involving family drama utilizes realistic situations, which is typical with the DJ's.

The other cast includes Dev Keshwani opposite Annu, Rajesh Khattar, Sanjeev Mehra, Paromitha, Madhuri Pandey, Anisha, Jiten Mukhi, Amit Dua, Mukul Chablani and many more. The grand set they have developed consists of a posh restaurant with Italian dcor and the story primarily revolves around the two families who meet in the restaurant and the love angle that develops between the protagonists.

About her role, she says, "I am playing the role of Parvatya. I have a scene with Akshay during the initial part of the movie when he is in the village. The major scenes are during the Ramleela sequence where I am playing Seeta and him Ravan. It is a spoof kind of a thing. Then he moves out of that village and joins Kareena and Saif."

She adds, "Parvatya thinks she is very smart but Akshay thinks exactly the opposite. There is also a love angle."

Talking about the experience of working with the superstar, she says, "He is very friendly with everyone on the sets. On the first day I thought he will say hi or at least give me one look but he did not do that. He was busy reading his script and discussing it with the director. I was later introduced to him.

One day I told his gym instructor, who is a foreign girl, that she is very pretty and she told this to Akshay. The very next day he came to me and asked me tum waise ho kya? It was damn funny. He used to crack jokes on the sets but did not play any prank on me."

Sreejita admits that she was nervous on first day. "When I was giving my first shot I was conscious since this is a big banner movie. So when I was telling my lines my hands were shivering but after two three takes, the scene went on nicely.

I am excited about the movie even though due to Akshay's date problems some scenes of me proposing him got cut. Otherwise my role would have been prominent."

Tashan stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor. The film is releasing on April 25.
