alka is allergic to kavita [priyani note

I have observed one point with alkaji that she gives less mark for the contestant whoever sing kavita's song. for eg priyani sang her first song main wari wari sung by kavita krishnamurthi which was superb but alkaji shown her door that she did not like it. but it was her best performance. priyani shd understand alka's mind that why she let her down and she shd be clever enough to choose the song sung by lataji or ashaji or aunradha poudwal. sanchali who is also a good singer [she was the runner or winner [i dont remember well] in children's competition in saregamapa] she too got less mark for singing kavita's song from Mr India hawa hawa hain. abhaas also was in children competition along with sanchali. priyani is a good singer and she shd be very careful in choosing the song and she has a very sweet and versatile voice. I wish her best of luck.

Alka is not allergic to Kavita K's songs, she does not feel Priyani is a star voice of India final 12 material, plain and simple!!

Alka was on as a judge, she has heard the voice, her job was to say whether she finds someone good enough or not and we gotta learn to respect that opinion and not question her integrity as a judge

Why not? Thats his/her opinion. If this forumm is not about share opinions, there wont be a single post. Opinions can be +ve or -ve. If you welcome a +ve one, you have to learn to tolerate a -ve one too.

Alka was right in case of Priyani and also Sumitra that they are not finalist materials..... i would also prefer Arindum over toshi 😊

This is a thread questioning integrity of a judge, that she personally does not like Kavita K's songs and hence Priyani was not liked

Questioning someone's opinion is totally a different thing(you can respect it and also disagree with it) read the initial post first😉

Bingo - constantly saying that Alka is jealous of upcoming talent and that she had a personal vendatta against Priyani and Sumitra is like character assasination... Why would she be insecured of any one? All the judges have their opinion, and we may or may not agree to it! But saying that she has malicious motives is just not the right thing to do!

The post was that Alks does not like Kavita and hence did not grade Priyani the way she shd have as she sang Kavitas song.
I have no idea so I cant comment.They say the music directors do not like some of them singing songs of other music directors with whom they have squabbles .God knows how much truth there is behind these allagations.
We have to feel sorry for the contestants if this is true.

I don't think Alka is jealouse of anyone here..
Priyani and Sumitra both have their limitations so no prob for her .. however if she had reduced marks of Abhilasha then yes any one could 've said it which is clearly not true..
even Prankita has a potential for being a playback for a main character in movies rather than being item number material , if she control her diction prob even in her case Alka is always encouraging . 😊

bingoooooo..you just spoke my mind...also vipul should have been an automatic choice for the finals..
