EK has always, always managed to keep the drama quotient up in all her soaps, barring the occasional slip-ups and faulty plots..
With YHM starting on such a realistic note, she has managed to bring in even more realism with Shobha's journey into attaining her independence...

I am thrilled that Shobha hasnt been showcased as a puppet in fate's hands, and has charted the course of her life by doing something basic and much needed - being financially independent...

I do not mean to classify all accomplished, noted men in the society, but today's episode does shed a light on how most wives of such filthy rich, politically-connected husbands fare in real life -- they are treated no more than "trophy wives"...an atrocious term indeed, for any woman!

Sonali perfected the role of the hurt, betrayed wife to perfection...the defeated look on her face when Samarth bluntly told her he could do without her, that he never loved her, that she was daal-chawal-roti-paratha watever, and the silent tears rolling down her cheeks moved me...though I have never been in such a situation before, it pained me to see how devoted and loyal wives everywhere go through this same shit day in and day out...of living out a loveless marriage...

And I know Sonali aka Shobha is going to rough it out and not try to make it "work"...a relationship that's beyond repair needs no "working upon"...This is a wonderful portrayal of how affluent men think they have women rolling at their feet and can make them grovel and beg for their happiness...while Shobha's fightback to this ugly scenario would be, in equal measure, a portrayal of why a woman doesnt need a man to validate her self-worth..

And for once, I can proudly say - women have the potential to understand each other's pain if they open their senses and hearts...Sharda supporting Shobha at her worst, and finally coming to her senses is a wonderful victory indeed..

We just need to wait and see how Samarth's exit from her life, is going to create the solid foundation of love between Shobha- Vikram!! Kudos to the CVs!!

Divorce, the 'D' word has already been spelled out. It's just a matter of time before ViBha give life and love second chance...a match made in heaven...

I dont expect Vibha so soon, I dont them give grass to people who always looks down at working woman claiming that their husband had to get rid of her as she was only after his money and didn't even for few months before changing her faith. Moreover it is not that easy for Shobha to forget Samarth and his humiliation and move on with Vikram. She needs time to heal down and even Vikram is not over his first love. till such time they come over their past. I wanr them to be just friends who help each othet in healing

You're right...right now Shobha is/would be in a very vulnerable, broken state...and who better to see her through this tough time, than Vikram himself? Though their relationship should progress slowly, and they should become good friends first, I strongly feel the romantic undercurrents would be there...love is more strongly felt when kindness, respect, care and affection flow involuntarily from an unexpected person (Vikram) when it has been shattered and ground to dust by someone, from whom a lot of expectations lay (Samarth)

what do you think?

Well said 👏 Agree with you both . Shobha is very weak right now even vikram commented the same to his naani . They both will help each other in their trying times and emerge stronger and hopefully they will have a second chance at love 😳

They will..they have to...that's the whole premise of the story..

Samarth will make a comeback, of course, to make life for ViBha hell.

one thing is quite clear that smart will not gonna leave Shobha so easily as Shradha (smarth's mom) will thrown him out of the house & now hopefully Gary- sanjay marriage will happen
so he will be burning in revenge
so whenever he will create hurdles in Shobha's life, Vik will there for her & this friendship will eventually turn into love😳
even, I don't have any problem with this friendship, it looks so real yet so beautiful 😳

yes samarth will try to make her life hell, maybe try to seize children from her and make all sorts of obstacles with vibha will overcome with patience, intelligence and strength and their mutual respect, understanding will take their relation to another dimension, it will evolve into love and dependence on each other...and take them better halves in their 2nd phase of life.
