The same site had it published as 1.27 earlier today. I will go change it on the TRP thread as well. You know, as much as the numbers are still abysmal, this tiny mistake correction jump made me really happy. Here's hoping for better, much much better.

But still, the TRPs of AB are published as 1.27 on the home page of the televisiontrp website. I am thoroughly confused but am just going to assume the higher one to be true. 😆

This is how I see the viewership of Afsar Bitiya show to my thinking.

There are actually 3 sets of viewers

1) Those who want to see the BDO track.

2) Those who want to see Pintu Krishna love story.

3) Those who want to see Pinky's love story.

As per Facebook I think we are losing the viewers from group one.

Earlier there was the BDO track running and Pintu following her around and some viewers in group two felt bad for Pintu. Now it is the love story of them which is making the BDO track suffer. Thereby loosing some of the original viewers who came to see the inspiring story of a girl who becomes a BDO.

But as we all know a story cannot happen in vacuum the CV's need to do a balancing act to keep all these three viewership's glued to their TV sets.

I hope they run TTS MLA track and tie it up altogether.😎

Of course this is all my conjecture and opinion. I do not want to do a college paper on this with citations to prove my point.😆

I myself fall under group 1 and to a part on group 2. and also a tiny bit on group 3.

Yes homepage says 1.27 but also when you click the link and look for the link I gave here it is, 1.34!😆

I think they need to correct their mistake!

And the show had the highest TRPs and the greatest forum response when all three were balanced well. That is one of the good things about TV, and especially Zee TV nowadays. The forum views do correlate with the TRPs which is certainly not the case with other shows in the recent past.

The way I see it, the show is a meal. All the plotting and planning against Krishna (including BDP, TTS etc) is the apetiser, crunchy and deep fried. Krishna's BDO track is the main course, the actual substance of the meal. And Prishna is dessert (yum).

Now of course the meal is incomplete without any of these elements but at the moment we are eating deep fried apetisers and desert but not the main course we were promised on the menu!

Aren't people going to get sick to the stomach and look for a more balanced meal elsewhere?

This show was never a "guilty pleasure" type show so they just can't get away with not showing the serious core of the premise.

Pintu's struggle for his identity was a pleasant addition to the story but they should give it the credit it deserves and not use it as a tool for the romance angle. Exclusive focus on Prishna is not what this show was designed for so it is not supporting it now. They need to show Krishna's work, show Pintu's struggle and for dessert, Prishna moments of understanding and support.

Hope a bee from the producer camp flies over here and checks these thoughts from us.

I think two more reasons which i am finding is IPL , Almost all shows saw drop in TRP's and second which i m seeing is Stopping 11 PM retelecast really costed AB TRP's . I don't know how and why but I think Due 2 stopping of retelecast so many viewers just got diconnected with the show . As when they used 2 see it evenif it used 2 be at 11 PM they used 2 be connected regularly with the show and whenever they used 2 get chance 2 see it at 7 PM they used 2 see it But now when they got disconnected with the show then TRP's obviously had 2 be dropped . So I kindly request Zee to resume the Retelecast of AB at 11 PM . I think Infact I am sure tht It will have very good effect on TRP's .

Moni, I completely agree on the 11pm repeat. That was only fair as it balanced the inconvenience of AB's original airtime. I really felt that PV and AB were helping each other because those who watched PV watched some part of AB at night and those who watch AB could catch bits of PV in the evening before AB started. There was also a huge rise in TRP after PV started (from 1.5 - 1.9) and became sort of AB's partner in both time slots. They worked well together.

But unfortunately the removal of the 11pm repeat coincided with the flakiest week on AB and so I think we saw this drastic drop.

Reinstating the 11pm repeat would help both shows, I feel, but what to do with this blessed Zee's timing sense or lack there of!

The sad part is that HD's TRPs did not increase the way AB's did, which I think must have been the aim. So really, it is a loss for Zee all around. I hope they come around and realise this.

sam Do u know Any Zee Member on FB where we can Spam 2 resume the Retelcast of 11 PM and can explain them their mistake ? or We shld do it on AB FB page , I hav started doing it , Just now I commented on AB page twice regarding this . I think We shld all do it so tht They will be forced 2 resume the retelecast at 11 PM .
And U r rght Both AB and PV were helping each other in TRP's and HD's repeat didn't helped any show n not to them as well . Don't know what was the logic behind doing all dis 😡 . Yaar I am damnn sure Main reasn is this only coz I don't think Just coz they are concentrating on Prishna lov story dropped the TRP's .
