I don't know what you guys want, honestly. You guys don't want anyone to die, anyone to change or anything to happen. How to do you accept producers and everyone else involved to get money to continue the show?

And rehi gal Vidiya di....
Dude, she lost a kid! unborn or born, it was still her child. I know many a ladies that still pine for their unborn kids and shed tears for them. You can never get over losing a child, period. As for why she is hating aditya and Antra because of it, thats who she blames. If Aditya had never cheated Antra would have never come in their lifes. If Antra had never come into their lifes they wouldn't have had to borrow money and have the goons after them. Please don't say he borrowed for the sake of his sister because he borrowed money because he couldn't afford both the marriage and antra's treatment. If he only had one responsibilty they wouldn't have been in the mess. So naturally Vidya blames Antra and Aditya. Yes, she can and should get over the fact that these two had a major role in everything in their life changing but she never got the chance to recover. Immediately after her miscarriage she had to go right back into life and raise her kid, Abhisheik and also even if she didn't care to she had to provide care to Antra.

On the ending note, Arti has full right to change. And did so rightfully. She was before a unmarried spoiled girl and with marriage she had to mature because of the kind of Husband Sameer is and because she had no help in the house because her in-laws don't live with her.

Give the creatives time, I am sure they know what they are doing.

P.s.- creatives don't just cater to us but also to the demands of actors (aka the wishes of the lady playing vidiya wanting to leave so they had to spice up her character to keep her), to demands of the channel and to those of the producers. So guess what? ITS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU!

i agree with u punjab#1. i dont understand the negativity in the forum currently and all the predictions of doom. certain things done make sense. but i feel compared to other shows the leap has been better. some points to be grateful for are:
-the leap is a more natural 5 years rather than 20 years where we would have aditya and vidya playing parents to actors their own age.
-billu, abhi and antara are brought up by their own parents. if it were any other show abhi wud have been kidnapped by the goons and 20 years later he wud have returned to the scene with anuradha who was found to be miraculously alive and become a vamp trying to take badla against vidya.
-the leap happenned at the right time. the show didnt become a victim of the popularity of the child actors unlike PRC and Balika Vadhu.
I think instead of passing judgements without seeing a single post leap episode we must give the show time of say a month. if things are not interesting then then we can abandon the show. btw skepti asked if anyone is actually watching the show...I am! and I am not bored.

Well, everyone in entitled to their opinions. 😉 We cannot expect everyone to be on the same page when it comes to critiquing a show.

For me personally, I like the idea of a leap. Autism is challenging at every age, and it will be good for us to see what the adolescent challenges are, such as a tendency to leave the home and wander becoming more dangerous; establishing boundaries with other people; appropriate behaviour with peer groups; educational hurdles; longterm care worries and their impact on the family.

And if I don't like the current melodrama, and wish they would focus more on the actual autism, well, as a mom to an autistic kid, I think it's natural. I understand it's a soap and they cannot just proceed on an even keel all the time, so I haven't complained too much. But hey, we are all free to make up our own minds. A public forum is going to attract all opinions.

Mahika.

I don't think the leap itself is crticised. After all Antara can't stay 5 years forever. What most members are unhappy about is the way Vidya's stance has changed. Its the volte face that is difficult to digest.
@Kshreya...............dear when I asked how many are watching, it was a rhetorical question.
@ Rimpy ............. visits to the forum are few on the weekend. They will probly be here on Monday to voice their opinions. In any case, the creatives will go ahead with whatever they had planned anyway.

I think people complained including me about certain melodramatic events that need not have been there such as the goons, kids being exposed to danger and roughed up, etc and only bad things befalling aditya time and again, even the fact that he borrowed money from goons, whether for antara or for his sister's marriage (the latter being most ridiculous given the sensible manner in which these characters have been portrayed). And even though he was indeed shown having done all these things not falling upon friends such as sameer or vidya's parents in times of dire need and danger did not make sense. On top of all that sameer and the police landing up after all the harm was done, vidya landing up in her critical state and last but not the least vidya's volte face!! Eevn if initially she was under shock and did blame aditya and antara, she had been shown as a practical and well meaning person who would have ended up realizing that she had no business going to a place like that alone especially since she had already informed sameer and that it is this act of hers which killed her child. To end it all it is a fact that children in their mother's wombs are very very resilient and do not die so easily. Anyway all this has been contrary to the realistic portrayals in the serial which is what drew us all to it. Well I am sure I ll think of many more reasons but this post is already long enough. I think we were just doing our duty as a loyal audience by attracting the attention of the producers of the serial and crying out STOP, don';t ruin the serial.

I agree with u.
But there are few people who are either extremely good or bad.But Vidya's character has altogether taken a U Turn which is ridiculous.
The survival of this show will depend upon how the story moves further.
I think 10:30 p.m is bad timings n the show will fail due 2 being placed opposite Laado.
n If they continue such unrealistic sub-plots in the show, then the show failure becomes more certain.

Honestly I loved this show so much that even can't imagine its failure.
Now Zee should aggressively promote it by repeats on saturday/sunday n also the slot of 7 p.m. should be utilized for Aapki Antara repeats.
If the plot becomes interesting, then it will not badly affect Colors Laado's Trp but also Colors Bhagya vidhata will loose trp.

Zee Think about it

It is not that we adamant supporter of the show are against the leap but most of didn't like the way the leap was carried out. If Vidya's detest towards Antara & Aditya would have been happening for the first time, then somehow it could have been digestible. But it is happening for the third time, that too after a period of affinity & togetherness during all hard times. Now don't you think thing are bit supernumerary here....
