Yukti Kapoor in Star Plus’ Namah!

Actress Yukti Kapoor who was part of Star Plus’ Siya Ke Ram, is once again back with another mythological show. The actress is gearing up for her next venture titled Namah with Star Plus and Shoonya Square Productions.

According to reports, Yukti Kapoor has been roped to play Goddess Laxmi in Namah. Initially, there were reports about actress Neha Sargam being locked for the role. However, there have been some changes after which the makers have finalised Yukti for the role.

Yukti was part of shows like Agnifera, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Balika Vadhu.

For the uninitiated, the show produced by Ved Raj under his banner Shoonya Square Productions, will take up the weekend slot and air biweekly on Star Plus. The story will revolve around Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu’s eternal bonding. 

Apart from Yukti, makers have roped in actor Savi Thakur from Sethji for depicting the character of Lord Vishnu and Gurpreet Singh for portraying Lord Shiva, while actress Chhavi Pandey will play Goddess Parvati and Sara Khan will be seen in a negative role.
