YRF dismisses Rumors of making a biopic on legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra!

Yash Raj Films clocked 50 years of excellence and supremacy on September 27, 2020. Meanwhile, the rumors of Aditya Chopra and his intellectual team working on a  grand biopic on the founding father of the banner Yash Chopra are doing the rounds. 

The Indian film production and distribution company, YRF has officially denied these rumors and confirmed that it is not true. 

“This is a baseless rumor. There are absolutely no plans to make a biopic on Yash Chopra ji,” stated YRF’s official spokesperson.

Recently, Aditya Chopra had penned an endearing note for his father Yash Chopra, who was the founder of the Bollywood production house. In his note, Aditya reminisced how his father was a salaried employee of BR Films but quit the job to start his own company, "All he had was a strong belief in his talent and hard work and a dream to be self-reliant. That conviction of a creative man backing nothing but himself and his art gave birth to Yash Raj Films."

Meanwhile, on the work front, the production house has several films lined up including Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Due to the pandemic, the release of the same was postponed.
