You gave mom the greatest gift: Masaba Gupta greives Satish Kaushik's demise

Everyone was shocked to learn about Satish Kaushik's passing. The filmmaker-actor left for heavenly abode after suffering from a heart attack at the age of 66. Soon after the news broke out, Satish Kaushik's friends and coworkers in the film industry, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgn, Sonam Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, and many more, expressed their sorrow over his passing. 

Also Satish ji's close friend, Neena Gupta too, posted a video message on social media in which she expressed her sorrow.

Well now, Masaba Gupta, the daughter of Neena Gupta, has now honoured Satish Kaushik and thanked him for his kindness towards Neena Gupta throughout the years.

Masaba Gupta uploaded a vintage black and white photo of Neena Gupta and Satish Kaushik on her Instagram story. On a project, a young Neena Gupta and Satish Kaushik can be seen collaborating. Masaba shared the photo while lamenting the passing of Satish Kaushik and wrote him a poignant message to express her gratitude for the care she had shown to her mother, Neena Gupta. She wrote, "Rest in peace Kaushik uncle- you gave mom the greatest gift..your kindness through all those years- will miss you"

For the unversed, Neena Gupta and Satish Kaushik worked together in the 1983 film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. Their friendship goes back to their college days, and they had been friends for many years.They have been pals for a long time and have known one other since their college days. Neena Gupta revealed in her memoirs Sach Kahun Toh that Satish Kaushik had proposed to her while she was carrying Viv Richards' child. She added that Satish had assured her that she didn't need to worry and that they could be married if she simply claimed the child as his.
