Yet another celebrated DIRECTOR to enter the web space

If you have been a 90s kid, there is a sure chance that you would have seen the British-German film, Bend It Like Beckham! And there is even a major chance that you would have thought the film to be an Indian film who had Hollywood stars in it. Well, no matter whatever naive thoughts we had about the film, it was undoubtedly one of the most loved films back then, which went on to become a cult over the years too.

So, now that you remember the film, you would know that it was none other than Gurinder Chaddha, who made the film. And even though she is not an Indian and doesn't even have an Indian origin, many consider her to be one of the initiators of female directors taking centre stage in making films, which went on to become a lot frequent later.

So what happens when a stalwart like her decides to venture into the ever growing web world? Well, we sure can say, it will be fireworks.

Yes! Gurinder is all set to make her web debut by directing an upcoming web series, which will be streaming on an International streaming platform. The platform and Gurinder were in talks for a while until she finally gave her nod for an upcoming project. Not a lot has been revealed, but the project is in post-production stage currently.

Well! We certainly cannot wait to see what Gurinder will be wowing us with this time around.
