Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to witness a new entry of Ashita Dhawan as Shivangi's mother

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been in the news for the longest time now and we have already seen a glimpse of what's going to go down with Shivangi Joshi aka Naira's avatar change ahead. While the promo has managed to rake in a lot of excitement, with what is about to follow ahead, a new entry is to follow suit in the form of actress Ashita Dhawan. Ashita was last seen in Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka and will be seen playing the role of Ila, Naira's on-screen mother.

Reports in The Times of India have it that given the buzz around Shivangi's return, there has also been an equal amount of buzz around everything else that will happen and so, some of Naira's family members have also been finalized and Ahita, is one of them. Ashita has been a part of two other Rajan Shahi shows as well and has had a long association with the team.

Ashita, while talking about the show and taking up the role revealed how she cannot divulge a lot of information but revealed how she has been wanting to do something like this for a very long time. She also revealed that much like her previous shows with Rajan Shahi, she will have a catchphrase in this one too, and it is going to be 'mere parlour ki saugandh.' Meanwhile, other information about her character includes characteristics like being sly and full of spice but without any negative connotation to it. Ashita's character will also have a desi touch to it and have Rajasthani lingo.
