In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Manisha sides with Abhira (Samridhii Shukla). Kaveri questions Manisha's desire to have Abhira back in the house. Manisha explains that Madhav will leave if Abhira doesn't return. Armaan (Rohit Purohit) confronts Madhav about leaving the family for Abhira. Madhav defends his choice, mentioning Armaan's past decision to leave Abhira for the family.
Manish decides to call Abhira, causing Swarna and Surekha to feel offended. Despite their objections, Manish contacts her. Abhira worries about failing her exam as she receives Manish's call. Ruhi interrupts their conversation, urging Manish to see that separating Abhira and Armaan will bring stability to her life. Ruhi seeks Manish's blessings, who expresses support but refuses to bless her or Armaan, believing they won't find happiness together. Ruhi decides to prove him wrong by showing she's happy with Armaan.
Abhira slaps Armaan:
A consultant meets Charu, who reacts angrily. Kaveri inquires about Charu's session with the consultant, but Charu refuses to engage. Krish shares his excitement about receiving his first salary with Abhira, giving her credit for his success. Ruhi takes Armaan to the same café where Krish invites Abhira to his party, but she declines, preoccupied with worries about Sanjay. Ruhi convinces Armaan that Abhira's absence is for the best, allowing him to focus on their family. However, Armaan spots Abhira and Krish, leading to tension. Abhira plans to leave, but Krish persuades her to stay. Ruhi feels jealous seeing Armaan and Abhira together.
Krish forgets his wallet, prompting Abhira to return it to him at the club. Meanwhile, Madhav considers leaving, but Vidya urges him to stay. Abhira heads to the club, only to be caught in a police raid. The Poddars discover she's been arrested in a rave party case, with Sanjay accusing her. Armaan stands by Abhira, rushing to her aid. Abhira convinces the police of her innocence by highlighting her profession as a lawyer, and they release her. However, as Armaan confronts her, their argument intensifies. Abhira accuses Armaan of being there not for her sake but to protect the Poddar family name. Attempting to leave, Abhira accidentally strikes Armaan's face while he tries to restrain her.
