Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Mukti learns the truth, chooses to support Abhira instead of blaming her

Today’s episode opens with Maira expressing her disappointment, saying that Abhira didn’t even pause to realize that Vani is the same girl who once took away her mother’s affection. Feeling deeply hurt, Maira questions Armaan about why she is experiencing so much pain. She adds that Abhira has always had a pattern of causing emotional wounds. Meanwhile, Meher fuels Maira’s anger by suggesting that Abhira intentionally arranged Mukti’s admission into Maira’s college. According to Meher, Abhira stayed at the Poddar house only to ensure a secure and comfortable future for Mukti. On the other hand, Abhira is seen struggling as she helps Mukti back home, while Mukti grows restless, unable to recall anything from her past. Abhira gently urges her to focus on her health and not stress herself.

Meher continues to manipulate Maira, pushing her further against Abhira. Influenced by Meher’s words, Maira tells Armaan that Abhira is simply using them as a means to secure Mukti’s future. She feels deceived and emotionally broken, prompting Armaan to comfort her with a hug. Tanya tries to intervene, but Vidya immediately stops her, warning her not to take Abhira’s side anymore. Vidya states that she never wanted Abhira to be a part of their lives because she had always doubted her intentions. She accuses Abhira of lying about Vani despite knowing the family’s feelings. Turning to Madhav, Vidya questions how he, being Abhira’s strongest supporter, remained unaware of Mukti’s truth. Manisha regrets trusting Abhira and feels that Maira has been hurt yet again. Sanjay agrees with Vidya’s accusations, while Manoj bluntly declares that Abhira cannot be considered Maira’s mother. In a shocking move, Vidya decides that Abhira should be thrown out of the house.

At the same time, Mukti begins to regain fragments of her memory and realizes that Abhira is Maira’s real mother. Abhira admits that she doesn’t know whether Mukti will accept her as a mother, but for her, both Maira and Mukti hold equal importance. Overwhelmed with emotions, the two break down. Abhira reveals that she kept the truth hidden because of past trauma and to protect Mukti from harm. Mukti questions why Abhira sacrificed everything for her, wondering who would do so much for someone considered a stranger. She acknowledges that only Abhira is capable of such selflessness. Abhira, however, blames herself and calls herself a bad mother, but Mukti reassures her, saying she is the best. Abhira fears that their relationship might change after the truth is out, but Mukti insists that since Abhira raised her, she will always remain her mother. Mukti then feels guilty, believing that her presence has only brought pain into Abhira’s life.

Abhira admits that she failed to make Armaan and Maira understand that Mukti’s presence would not affect their bond. When Mukti asks how she plans to convince Maira, Abhira says neither Maira nor Armaan will trust her now. Determined to fix things, Mukti decides to speak to Maira herself and asks Abhira to handle Armaan. Abhira, however, points out that until Meher’s truth is revealed, nothing will improve. Mukti warns her to stay cautious, but Abhira confidently responds that she can be even more dangerous when needed.

Elsewhere, Tanya asks Kaveri to take rest, while Aryan goes to fetch her medicines. However, Vidya exposes Kaveri’s lie in front of the family, revealing that Kaveri, along with Aryan and Tanya, had been planning to bring Abhira back into the house. Sanjay confronts Kaveri for manipulating their emotions during a time when they were genuinely worried about her health. Manoj also questions her actions. Kaveri defends herself, saying she only wished to see the family united again and wanted happiness for Armaan and Maira. Vidya, however, declares that Meher will now complete Armaan and Maira’s lives. Aryan later tells Tanya and Kaveri that reuniting Abhira and Armaan now seems nearly impossible.

Meanwhile, Mukti tries to stop Maira from leaving, but Maira refuses to listen and asks her to go back to Abhira. Mukti urges Maira not to misunderstand Abhira and to see her intentions clearly. At the same time, Armaan confronts Abhira for hiding Mukti’s truth, especially knowing how deeply it would affect Maira. Abhira attempts to justify her actions and explain her reasons. Parallelly, Mukti tells Maira that Meher is responsible for her parents’ death, but Maira refuses to believe such claims. She firmly states that she wants both Abhira and Mukti out of her life. By the end of the episode, Armaan continues to blame Abhira, accusing her of prioritizing Mukti over Maira’s emotions and keeping such a major truth hidden.

In the precap, Armaan is seen burning his wedding photographs with Abhira, symbolizing his anger and heartbreak. Tanya and Aryan question Abhira about why she wants to stop Armaan and Meher’s wedding. Abhira reveals that she senses danger coming toward Armaan and Maira because of Meher. When Aryan asks about her next step, Abhira declares that she plans to attend Aryan’s wedding, hinting at her next move.
