Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Is Armaan losing his memory? He fails to recognise Abhira

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Kaveri telling Abhira that she should guide her daughter Maira properly and make sure she learns the right values instead of being misled. She expresses her concern, saying that the world treats boys and girls differently. According to her, boys may take risks and still escape consequences, but if a girl goes through the same situation, she ends up risking both her safety and her reputation. Worried about Maira’s future, Kaveri insists that Abhira should discipline her. In response, Abhira tells Kaveri to ask Damyanti to punish Rishab instead. Kaveri, however, argues that boys usually remain unaffected and often face even worse situations. Abhira firmly refuses to punish Maira, reminding Kaveri that Maira has already apologized multiple times. She also makes it clear that she never wants her daughters to feel scared of opening up to her.

Meanwhile, Armaan advises Maira and Mukti to stay away from trouble in the future. He encourages them to always share everything with him and Abhira without hesitation. He reassures Maira not to worry about Rishab. However, Maira continues to remain concerned about Rishab. On the other side, Abhira feels tense as she gets ready for her wedding preparations. Armaan gets close to her, but Aryan interrupts them, leaving the two in an awkward situation.

Elsewhere, Madhav approaches Chopra and requests another chance, explaining that he was stuck in an emergency situation. Chopra refuses, saying Madhav failed both in tracing Maira’s stalker and handling his client properly. He insults Madhav, which leads Madhav to remind him that he is his senior. Chopra harshly responds that Madhav is currently the one pleading for a job and throws him out of the office. Madhav falls down outside, feeling humiliated.

Aryan then asks Armaan whom he should support—him or Disha. Armaan replies that his entire life he has been stuck between Abhira and his family, constantly trying to balance both sides. Kaveri later tells Aryan to apologize to Krish, which offends Armaan. She further states that Abhira is making Maira careless, while Armaan is turning Aryan disrespectful. Armaan begins to feel a severe headache and becomes mentally disturbed. Soon after, the doctor informs Armaan that he needs to come to the hospital. Armaan decides to go only after the wedding.

At the same time, Maira asks Mukti if she is still taking her medicines. Mukti opens up about her trauma. Later, someone secretly takes Mukti’s pills from the cupboard.

Later, Armaan, along with Maira and Mukti, shares a light and joyful moment by dancing and trying to cheer Abhira. He surprises Abhira by proposing marriage and presents her with a ring. Abhira regrets not being the first one to propose. Eventually, both Armaan and Abhira decide to propose to each other at the same time. Maira and Mukti capture this beautiful moment on camera. Armaan emotionally tells Mukti that she can call him father if she wants. He clarifies that he is not trying to replace Rajat, but she is free to see him as a father figure. Mukti becomes emotional hearing this.

In the end, Abhira, Armaan, Maira, and Mukti share a happy moment together, feeling like a complete family. Meanwhile, Vidya grows worried as Madhav does not answer her calls. Madhav, shattered by Chopra’s humiliation, breaks down emotionally. He later apologizes to Mukti for taking her medicines and ends up consuming her pills himself, eventually losing consciousness.

In the precap, Abhira feels happy seeing Armaan, Mukti, and Maira painting something special for her. However, she is shocked when Armaan fails to recognize her. Determined, Abhira decides she will bring Armaan back from the darkness.
