'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' Completes 9 Years, Celebrations Galore!

Star Plus' one of the top rated and longest running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai completed 9 years today. The show which has always kept their audience entertained with lots of drama is celebrating completion of successful nine years.

For starters, the show has long list of achievements. The show gave us Naitik and Akshara, one of the most iconic jodis of Indian Television.

Currently, the show's storyline is focusing on Kartik (Mohsin Khan)- Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Naksh (Rishi Dev)- Keerti (Mohena Singh). 

The show also holds the record for being one of the longest running shows and not just that, it is also one of those shows that has always made it to the Top 10 list of TRP charts. 

When contacted Rajan Shahi who shared the excitement with us saying, "Yes we completed 9 years, we are not only the longest running show but also with maximum number of episodes. It's a good moment and good thing for the entire department who worked and stood by us. This happened because of all good team work and also possible because of Fans and I would thank fans for having faith in Yeh Rishta... and would request them to keep that faith with us."

The entire team had a small cake cutting celebration at producer, Rajan Shahi's office.
