Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan BURSTS OUT at Meher, asks her not to act like Maira’s mother

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Aryan questioning Abhira about her next step. Abhira admits she has no backup plan at the moment, but then recalls that the crucial data is still saved on Meher’s phone. Aryan presses her to reveal what she intends to do next, while Tanya also wonders how they will manage to get hold of Meher’s mobile. Abhira then shares her plan—she decides to attend Aryan’s wedding, where she will create a distraction for Meher, take her phone, and transfer the data.

Meanwhile, Damyanti instructs Abhira to welcome the arriving guests. Vidya feels insulted and questions why Abhira should perform the welcome ritual. Damyanti explains that Abhira shares a bond with Disha, who considers her like an elder sister, making her the right person for the task. Despite Vidya’s objection, Kaveri firmly tells her to step aside if she refuses, and asks Abhira to carry out the ritual. Abhira proceeds as told. However, Vidya then insists that Abhira should welcome not just the guests but also Armaan, Meher, and Maira. In response, Abhira only performs the ritual for Armaan and Maira, leaving both Vidya and Meher stunned.

Elsewhere, Nakul asks Aryan to take his seat, but Aryan hesitates, saying he cannot sit while others are still standing. Eventually, he is persuaded to sit down. Meher tries to calm Vidya, advising her not to get affected by Abhira’s actions. Vidya, however, tells Meher to ensure that Armaan and Abhira remain apart. Soon after, Vidya notices Abhira taking Maira aside and becomes suspicious, but Tanya intervenes and pulls Vidya away. Madhav then questions Vidya’s constant agitation, asking why she cannot stay composed without creating unnecessary tension. Vidya responds that her concern for Abhira is the reason behind her behavior.

In a private moment, Maira tells Abhira that she does not wish to speak to her. Abhira tries to bring up the topic of the gift, which shocks Maira as she realizes Meher had lied about it. Abhira urges Maira to see the truth and trust her instead of believing Meher. However, Maira refuses, saying that although she trusted Abhira during the fire incident, she now chooses to believe only Meher. She firmly asks Abhira to stay away from her.

On the other side, Meher insists that Armaan accompany her and tries to control his actions. Armaan resists, asking her to stop ordering him around and to quit trying to take on the role of Maira’s mother. Meher becomes furious at his words. Later, Armaan softens and apologizes to her.

Damyanti then announces another wedding ritual where Nakul is supposed to wash Aryan’s feet. Nakul prepares to perform it, but Aryan feels uncomfortable with the custom. As the ritual begins, Abhira and Armaan step in and object, suggesting a change. They explain that instead of Nakul washing Aryan’s feet, Aryan should wash Nakul’s feet, as Nakul is about to bid farewell to his daughter. After some resistance, Damyanti agrees to the change, allowing Aryan to perform the gesture.

In an emotional moment, Mamta quietly breaks down. Manisha notices and asks her the reason. Mamta expresses her worries about Disha, saying she has never lived in a joint family and might struggle to adjust. Manisha reassures her, promising that she will always stand by Disha and protect her. Overhearing this, Disha becomes emotional.

At the same time, Abhira and Tanya attempt to execute their plan by trying to get hold of Meher’s phone, but Meher manages to escape their trap once again. Back at the ceremony, Damyanti announces another ritual where Aryan must identify Disha. Aryan successfully recognizes her, winning the challenge.

Manisha then suggests celebrating the moment with a dance, and soon the Poddar family joins in. Amid the celebrations, Kaveri subtly signals Aryan. Taking the hint, Aryan and Disha try to bring Abhira and Armaan closer to each other.

In the precap, Abhira confronts Meher, questioning how long she plans to hide her true intentions. Meher asks her to stop, but Armaan steps in, demanding answers from Meher for ruining his life and manipulating his emotions. Abhira then declares that Meher’s truth will soon be revealed in front of everyone, especially Armaan.
