Ekta Kapoor produced Star Plus show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', featuring Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel in lead roles of 'Ishita' & 'Raman' respectively, started in the year 2013 and went on to become one of the most loved daily soaps. The show completed five years in December last year and is still the slot leader in late night time-slot of 10:30 pm. From the last few months, there are constant rumours that 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will soon bid goodbye to the viewers and actress Krishna Mukherjee has now confirmed the same.
Krishna Mukherjee, who became a household name after playing the role of 'Alia' in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', has now confirmed that the much-loved show is going off air in the month of June.
She is sad that 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is ending. Sharing her feelings with a leading daily, Krishna Mukherjee said that she has no idea why 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is going off-air as it is still fetching good TRPs.
She further added that she will miss her 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-stars and it is difficult to leave a show as everyone becomes like a family member.
The news will surely make 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' fans sad but all good things eventually come to an end and that's the case with this show.
On the career front, Krishna Mukherjee rose to fame with 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' and is now all set to enter top-rated Colors show 'Naagin 3' in which she'll be playing the negative role of Hukum (Nikitin Dheer) & Vishakha's (Anita Hassanandani) daughter 'Taamsi'.
