Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal actor Nalini Negi opens up about being part of the show

Nalini Negi, who plays the character of Cherry Diwan in Yash and Mamta Patnaik's Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, says that the strong storyline convinced her to come on board. The actress adds that she could relate to it well.

“I was inspired to take on this show because of its compelling story. The character I'm portraying resonated with me, and I saw it as a chance to challenge myself creatively and grow as an actor. My role in is special to me because it allows me to explore a transformative character journey,” she says.

Talking about the audience’s response, she says, “Feedback for my character has been positive only so far.”

Working with Yash Patnaik and the cast was great, she says, adding, “I did a pilot shoot with them for some other show which didn’t work out. But I am so glad this worked out. It’s a pleasure working with the production house. As for the cast, I bonded well with Reem so in our scene’s we do a lot of masti and chill on camera and off camera.”

Meanwhile, the actress says that TV still needs to be more realistic in terms of content. “I feel we are still so far from real cinema I mean the type of content OTT is providing is mind blowing,” she says.
