World Hindi Day: Aishwarya Khare & Aparna Mishra from ‘Bhagya Lakshmi’ & ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ share their thoughts

Every year, 10th January is celebrated as the World Hindi Day. The day is celebrated to promote the usage of the language and to acknowledge the people who strived hard to make the language so prominent. On January 10, 2006, first World Hindi Day was celebrated which was adopted by Former prime minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.

India Forums got in touch with Zee TV actresses Aishwarya Khare and Aparna Mishra to know about their thoughts on the special occasion.

Aishwarya Khare who plays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi mentioned, “Hindi is of course one of the most commonly used languages of India, but I am so happy that nowadays it is becoming known around the world. I recently visited Bali and I was so surprised to see that people there knew about the language and understood when I spoke in Hindi. I was feeling so happy and proud to see how our Indian culture and language has spread across the world.”

Aparna Mishra who plays the role of Sahana in Zee TV’s Sa Kumkum Bhagya mentioned, “It has been an honor for me to be a part of Hindi TV shows. I have not only gained a renewed interest in Hindi, but I have also improved my Hindi vocabulary as a result. While English is a globally used language and the importance of the same cannot be forgotten, Hindi has also become an influential language globally. On this World Hindi day, I want to remind us that Hindi is one of our official languages and holds very much importance in our life and we all should know it.”
