Woh Toh Hai Albelaa review: Shaheer and Hiba make for a fine watch in a story that seems promising

The show definitely gets a thumbs up from us for it seems promising, has a great cast and belongs to one of the finest makers in the industry. With all the right ingredients in place, this could make way into the TRP list in its very first week.

Shaheer Sheikh

Produced under Director's Kut Productions, Woh Toh Hai Albelaa features Shaheer Sheikh, Hiba Nawab, Anuj Sachdeva, Kinshuk Vaidya, Pallavi Pradhan, Sucheta Khanna, Mehul Buch, Nayan Bhatt, Somesh Agarwal, Suruchi Adarkar, to name a few. From what we know so far, the show narrates the tale of two families, who have been at loggerheads, and the enmity seems to continue.

The episode gave glimpses of that, while also showing the bonds that the brother's trio of Kanha, Chiroo, and Nakul share. Meanwhile, Sayuri (Hiba) has also turned sour because of her past experiences with the family and blames Kanha for everything that has happened between the two.

In its first look, the show looks promising, to say the least. Shaheer as Kanha aka Krishna, is a treat to watch. Seeing him take on a role where he gets to play this fun loving, sweet guy, is an absolute bliss for all his fans. Meanwhile, Anuj as the eldest brother does the role right and you get that vibe right through the screens. Kinshuk, on the other hand, is also this playful, pampered one in the house and he manages to display that just fine.

Hiba Nawab

Meanwhile, Hiba as Sayuri might be a revelation of sorts, only because she takes on a rather different role and the first impressions seem well. Barring the dramatic tropes that we use in TV, her performances does stand out. The supporting cast of the show, is an equally amazing mix, with Pallavi Pradhan being an instant favourite, even though you most definitely know she might be the villain here.

Everyone has done their parts well, and while the focus lies on the brothers, along with Hiba, everyone fits their part well, which makes everything on-screens look rather effortless.

The Good

The setting of the show and the production quality are all at par with most of what we see with the production's work, and its a mix of beautiful sets, a couple of visuals, and good cinematography. Meanwhile, the mystery element that has been kept under the wraps even after the first episode, does kind of make you want to see more of what's in store ahead, and that's a plus up for any show ever.

The cast is amazing, and we all know just how much that means. For most part, the dialogues are good too, and have add to what you see on-screen. All in all, the show does have an amalgamation of everything that makes daily soaps work, and it is with time, that one would know better and more.

The Not So Good

While you like what you see, and the story does well, there are some very typical stereotypes that exist too, the basic plot of what we've seen, that is. However, it is okay to feel that way now, for it is with time that we'll see what progress does the content make.

The show definitely gets a thumbs up from us for it seems promising, has a great cast and belongs to one of the finest makers in the industry. With all the right ingredients in place, this could make way into the TRP list in its very first week.

For a comedy this would be hilarious. The first 2 episodes show a constant childish behavior by the main lead and brothers flydancing, a strange angry bird mommy who slaps the person who saved her from becoming a barbecue, a mommy who plays ball with fruits by bouncing them into a indoor fountain when in angry mode.

I think it’s too early to deduce if the show will be interesting or not. Shaheer will definitely be the USP of the show but if the storyline is not good there is little he can do to salvage it. And who slaps a girl who saves their life? 🥱

Above all I think a review must take after at least of 15 episodes or 1 month gap...ek din mein aap 3 mahine ka content decide kar loge kya???

Seriously the review is sugarcoated a lot. The visuals and editing was terrible. Production Quality is just decent. Also the whole show is full of stereotypes and its just that Krishna's aim to become a tiktoker is a coating on its real storyline.
