Woah! Mohit Raina's film scores 8 crores on Day 1!

Actor Mohit Raina has been a TV man for a really long time, where he became a household name owing to his character of Lord Shiva in Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev. Since then, the actor has been selective about his projects on the small screen.

But the actor made a giant leap to films with the currently running film, URI: The Surgical Strike. Few know that the actor's debut was actually several years ago in the form of Don Muthu Swami, but it never released. And hence, URI is treated as Mohit's introductory film. To make things better, not only has URI received extremely rave reviews, but it also clocked a fantastic 8 crores on Day 1.
