The numbers game is always fun to experience when we have an array of shows battling it out every week where some of them have been on-air for several years. Amidst that lot, there are two shows that are atop the hill and they are Yeh Rishta Ka Kehlata Hai and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Both the shows have been on-air for over a decade now where Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai enjoys the feat of most episodes - 2,879 and counting; Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah enjoys the feat of being on-air for 10 and a half years and counting - the most time.

And while the latter may be a little behind in terms of the number of episodes, it currently achieved an amazing feat indeed as it completed a fabulous 2700 episodes.

Yes! That's right. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completed 2700 episodes and the cast and crew celebrated the occasion too-

Many more episodes and years to come indeed!

The day these pathetic longest oldest drama ends Indian TV will see new fate or else nonsense dragging for ages just to remain ahead for longest show..!!! Both shows need to go off air ASAP..!!!
