Will Akshay Kumar star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2?

Horror comedy has been an interesting genre for the audience and is loved by moviegoers because these films are a mixture of entertainment and thrill. And post Stree, the scenario of horror comedies has totally changed in Bollywood. Every filmmaker is keen on doing a film of this genre as it has become a new success formula for them.

The upcoming projects in Bollywood of this genre include Roohi Afza and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Among these films, the sequel of the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa is currently the talk of the town due to the speculation about its main lead.  Reportedly, the film will feature Kartik Aaryan in the lead role.

Recent reports in Deccan Chronicle states that superstar Akshay Kumar will make a special appearance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. A source close to the film revealed, "The makers are planning to have Akshay Kumar for a special appearance for the sequel. However, nothing has been confirmed yet."

 It would be quite interesting for fans as they will get a glimpse of the superstar in this much-awaited sequel. Also, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are being considered by the makers to play the leading lady in the film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay is currently gearing up for the release of Mission Mangal which is slated to release on 15th August. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menon.
