Wild Card at its Best in Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa...

This week, viewers will get to see all their favorite eliminated teams performing once again for the wild card entry of Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa. The celebrity judges for the evening were the gorgeous Zeenat Aman and Shiamak Davar.. While we all know that Hussein and his Kal Ke Kalakar re-entered the show, here are some more juicy tidbits to watch out for in the episode to be aired on 8^th June.

Viewers have always seen Varun Badola and his team of senior citizens - Gurukool perform on perky, fast numbers, this week they touched the hearts of the audience with their performance on the theme of ill-treatment of women. Prerna from the team was overwhelmed and distraught after the performance and broke down into tears. She was disheartened by the plight faced by Indian women and related her own traumatic experiences of life. She was thankful to her husband for changing her life. She also thanked her guru, and imagine our surprise, when we learnt that her guru was none other than celebrity judge Shaimak Dawar. Prerna joined Shaimak’s institute at the age of 51 and refers to him as her spiritual guru.

However, Shaimak is not only Prerna’s spiritual guru, but was the knight in shining armor for the evening too. When it was Shweta Tiwari and Bahu Ki Behnein’s turn to perform, Shiamak appeared on the stage out of nowhere with a dupatta, dancing in front of one of the team members. At first Shweta was annoyed as his appearance threw her off balance, but Shaimak apologized, “I saw the lady pulling her jeans up and realized she was extremely uncomfortable. Hence I came on the stage with a dupatta and asked her to adjust her pants.” Now that’s what we call a true gentleman!!!

Shaimak Dawar was not the only star of the evening. Hussein Kuwajerwala, the heartthrob of millions and superstar of television, captured the hearts of not only his fans with his performance for the wild card but impressed dance Guru Shaimak Dawar too, so much so that the Dance Guru came out with some phenomenal words for Hussein...
