Why there is No Possibility of Reconciliation Between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and His Wife?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's life went for a toss when his wife Aaliya Siddiqui sent him a divorce notice. This news came as a shocker for everyone, as Nawaz kept a very low profile when it came to his personal life.

However, what followed was something that no one one expected. A day after confirming the news of her separation, Aaliya Siddiqui aka Anjana Kishor Pandey; made some very serious allegations against Nawaz, his brother and his family. Revealing sensitive details, she shared that the actor and his family used to torture her mentally and physically, she also accused Nawaz's brother of hitting her.

"He (Nawaz) had never raised his hands on me, but the shouting and arguments had become unbearable. You could say though that only that was left. Yes, but his family has mentally and physically tortured me a lot. His brother had even hit me. His mother and brothers and sisters-in-law used to stay with us only in Mumbai. So, I've been bearing a lot for too many years.”

Adding to it she also shared that this is a pattern in the Siddiqui family and also revealed that his first wife left him for a similar reason.

“There are already seven cases registered by the wives of their house against them, and four divorces have taken place. This is the fifth one. It's a pattern in his family. You leave a lot to avoid embarrassment before others, but how much can you take in love. My sister is supporting me as my father and mother are no more, and my brother had passed away last December” she broke open.

As reported earlier, the legal notice was sent to Nawazuddin Siddiqui on May 7 through email as well as WhatsApp in which Aaliya was seeking maintenance and divorce from him. However, the actor has failed to respond to it.

Now, in a fresh statement given to Hindustan Times, Aaliya's lawyer Abhay Sahai has confirmed that they are yet to receive a response from Nawazuddin.

When asked about the next steps they will take if they do not get a reply soon, he said, “This is a very difficult time right now, because of the coronavirus. All the inter-state borders are also closed and it is very difficult to travel. Let’s see how we take it forward.”

“We will have to see the situation because the situation throughout the country is very difficult. Depending on whatever the situation calls for, we will take action appropriately,” he added.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya, who got married in 2009, have two children --daughter Shora and son Yaani. Aaliya has sought sole custody of the children.

However, if we look closely to the statements made by Aaliya, it comes crystal clear that a reconciliation between the two is not possible.

In her earlier interviews, Aaliya has said that the cracks in her marriage with Nawazuddin started appearing after just a year, but she tried her best to make it work. She ruled out a reconciliation, saying that there are ‘serious’ problems between them.

“Problems had begun from long before, from the time I got married (to Nawaz), but I wasn't bringing them forward. I was trying to solve these issues, waiting for them to get better, so I finally had to take this decision. There are many reasons why I finally took this decision." 

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin is currently in his hometown Budhana in Uttar Pradesh. He recently travelled there to be with his 71-year-old mother, who has not been keeping well, and is under a mandatory two-week home quarantine.
