Who will get to play the role opposite Deepika Padukone in her next?

Deepika Padukone has been on a sabbatical since her big release Padmaavat in January. The starlet was gearing up for her wedding which finally took place in November. She got married to her six yearlong boyfriend ranveer Singh in a lavish ceremony in Italy. And as soon as her wedding saga was over, she announced her new project.

Deepika will be seen next in an acid attack survivor Agarwal's biopic. The movie will be a woman eccentric one and will go one floors in January next year. As per the reports, the buzz is that the makers are still hunting for the male lead. Since the movie revolves around the lead woman character, there can't be a casting of any A list Bollywood star.

But the makers want the male lead to be exceptionally good and be a prominent face in the industry. Final shortlisting has been done and the names of two Bareilly Ki Barfi stars have cropped up.

The producers are now keen on getting either Ayushmann Khurrana or Rajkummar Rao on board.

Now it's a toss between the two and though both of them have many projects lined up one after the other, they both have responded affirmative for this one. They are getting their dates sorted and if anything fits, they will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone.
