When Aamir was snapped on sets of Swades but SRK seems to be missing!

Bollywood's budding filmmaker Ayan Mukherji made his debut with Wake Up Sid back in 2009. Since then the filmmaker went on to direct one of the most critically acclaimed film Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani in 2013. And we totally love these two films. The director is currently on a working spree to complete his upcoming film Brahmastra. However, not many of you might know Ayan was an assistant director of the film Swades. The film which stole the nation's heart and made us aware of the social evils of our country back in 2004.

Ahead of his upcoming film Ayan took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of himself with the cast of Swades. Well, the picture turns out to be a major throwback picture as it also features Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

His caption read, "Swades. At the age of 19, I started my journey as an assistant director under Ashutosh Gowariker, my brother-in-law and first mentor. With Ashuda, I really understood the passion and sacrifice that each film takes, and how to devote oneself completely to the journey of the movie one is making... I gave clap for each shot on this movie, and in return, took from it, so much learning, such special relationships, and many many memories... #startingpoint #memorylane #everythingisconnected."

The picture turns out to be pure gold and is now breaking the internet. The film had a lifetime worldwide gross of US$4.8 million.
