What? Sidharth Malhotra failed in the 9th standard? All thanks to Girls!

Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, has been an industry favourite since day one. The actor is always making news not only for his peculiar film choices, but also for his hot looks and link up rumours. The actor is currently on a promotions spree with co-star Parineeti Chopra for his upcoming film, Jabariya Jodi.

Sid and Pari made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their upcoming film. The actors made some shocking revelations on the show, which have surely left the fans amused. The host of the show, Kapil Sharma, live-streamed the show on YouTube making the fun conversation all the more exciting! 

On the show, Sid revealed a secret about his personal life which proves that he has always been a ladies favourite, ever since his teenage years! The actor who passed with flying colours in his debut film revealed that he failed in his ninth standard! And the reason behind the same is sure to leave you amazed. He mentioned that he flunked in the 9th grade due to girls! He stated that he was in an all-boys school and due to that, he was tempted, but he further went on to clarify that only good came out of this experience as he moved on to a co-ed school after that. 

The Aiyaary actor said, “Yes, my attention was diverted by girls. But this (the failure) turned out to be a positive thing in my life as I was eventually moved to a co-ed school where I learned better. And I passed my 10th and 11th grade with good grades.”

Besides this, Sid also mentioned that when he is extremely hungry, he can turn into a whole different person and associating the reason to be his Punjabi genes. 

The Jabariya Jodi also went on to answer some fun questions from the audience which made up for a really exciting conversation on the show. Talking of the film, the Prashant Singh directorial is based on the plot of kidnapping grooms to avoid dowry. Besides, Sid and Pari in the lead roles, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana in a key role. The core plot of the film is set in Patna, Bihar and is co-presented by Balaji Telefilms and Karma Media Entertainment. The film is slated to release on August 2.
