Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz was a popular show until the makers decided to take a generation leap. Retaining only Nakuul Mehta, the makers changed the entire cast of the show. Now, what we hear is, the show will soon bid adieu.

According to reports, Ishqbaaaz-Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahaani will go off-air on 15 March. Talking to an online portal, Producer Gul Khan confirmed the news.

It was just a month back when the show took a generation leap and roped in new actors. Initially, newbie Manjiri Pupala was roped in as the female lead. However, the viewers were still not over Surbhi Chandna's character and so, Manjiri was replaced by actress Niti Taylor.

Ishqbaaaz was a show where the story revolved around three brothers and their love stories. The show was a huge hit before the leap. Viewers loved Surbhi Chandna and Nakuul Mehta's on-screen chemistry, their sweet and sour relationship was one of the best thing to watch on the show. Also, it was the first show which introduced a spin-off titled Dil Bole Oberoi. Well, the spin-off too didn't work just like the new plot in Ishqbaaaz-Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahaani.

According to Salil Sand Twitter, 2 other Star Plus Shows (Happy 0.9, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 1.2) have less trp than Ishqbaaz (1.3). Then why it's going off air ? Totally unfair.
The new cast was really good. I will really miss Pal John who played Annie/Shivani. Niti Mannat was really cute.
From the last season, glad that Shrenu will feature in a Star Bharat show. Missing Mansi.

I stopped watching the show long time ago. Even when Anika was there. There was nothing exciting to the story anymore. It kept repeating its story - I got that I've seen these characters in this situation before kinda feeling. It's been a long time coming, it's probably the best call they have made in a long time. Stop wasting everyone's talent! Best of luck to Nakul.

Thank God finally. DIB had no story at all n Niti's presence was flat and boring. No one can compare the super 4 of Original IB, ShivAniOmRu are the best! Now it's a perfect adieu to the show.

For God's sake, stop calling DBO as first spin-off in India. There were several shows spin-off made before. Mahabharat's Mahabharat Katha, Ssshhh Koi Hai's Vikraal Aur Gabraal, Kareena Kareena's Pandey Aur Pandey, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev's Bal Ganesha and may be of some more shows which I don't know. So Gul should shut up and stop calling her DBO as first Indian spin-off.

hahahahahaha this is the best news of the month aur lo pangey Shivika ka end krne se yehi hona chahye tha.. it was so painful to hear ishqbaaaz onair without shivika
its a message for whole TV eternity that messing up with fans is not a good idea
