What is actor Anupama Singh upto these days?

Anupama Singh, who was last seen in 'Love Marriage ya Arranged Marriage' on Sony TV has not been seen in a daily soap of late.

Last seen in an episodic of CID earlier this year, Tellybuzz spoke to the actor what is she upto these days?

Anupama said, "Acting has always been my first love and second was social welfare. I wanted to do social welfare from a long time but was not getting time. I found myself doing the run-of-the-mill work and it was getting too monotonous and hence decided to take a sabbatical to focus on my social programs.

For now, I am running my own charitable trust. We earlier had a program on women empowerment and currently we have adopted a village to showcase it as a role model for our cleanliness drive. I also shot for a French film some months back titled 'Taj Mahal' which was based on 26/11 attacks, where I played the Indian counterpart."

Hmm...

When asked about her plans to return on TV, Anupama averred, "I want to return to TV since my charitable trust is going steady. I keep getting offers but I will take up something through which I can showcase my love for the social cause. I would like to portray women centric characters, which are strong and powerful and where the concept of the show is different from the set pattern. I will most definitely take up something by the start of 2016."
