Watch: When Salman defended Katrina's leaked bikini photos with Ranbir

He believed that the pictures were morphed!

Do you recall the time Katrina Kaif's bikini pictures from her holiday in Ibiza with Ranbir Kapoor went viral on the internet? For those who don't, let us tell you that a leading film magazine had published a few pictures of then lovebirds Ranbir and Katrina in 2013. The pictures had Katrina in a red and white bikini and Ranbir in a casual attire. The pictures took the internet by a storm because up until then Ranbir and Kat never confessed their affair and suddenly, it was all in the open.

While Ranbir kept mum, Katrina lashed out at the media for leaking her private pictures. But not just that, her former lover and good friend Salman Khan further defended her by saying that he thinks the that girl in the bikini wasn't Katrina and the pictures, in fact, were morphed. He had stated during an appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, "Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki woh tasveerein na kuch woh publicity stunt tha aur woh morphed tasveerein hain. Kyunki mujhe nahin lagta ki woh...Ranbir toh honge hi par mujhe woh Katrina nahin lagti. Face hoga kisi aur ki body hogi..morphed tasveerein."

Further calling it disgusting, Salman added, "Par sochiye sir, koi chutti pe gaya hai personal holidays par aur kisi ne woh tasveer kheech ke daal diya hai. How disgusting! Yeh hamaari maa, beheno ke saath bhi ho sakta hai. How would you guys react when something like this happens with your wives or to your sisters. It's a disgusting thing."

Additionally, he had said in another interview with Zoom TV, "What we do in films is a different matter, but exposing one's personal life in this manner is not right, you do not have any right to do something like this."

While Ranbir and Katrina parted ways, the actress continues to be good friends with Salman and will share screen space with him in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. The film is set to hit the screens on Eid 2019.
