Wanted people to know that my story didn’t just have happy moments in it: Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway has always impressed the audience with her acting since her first Hollywood movie The Princess Diaries in 2001. The recipient of prestigious awards like The Academy Award, The PrimeTime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award, earlier his week, had announced her second pregnancy by posting a black-and-white photo of showing her baby bump. 

While captioning her post, Anne expressed that her new look is not for a movie and gave a special shout-out to ‘everyone going through infertility and conception hell’. She also revealed that ‘it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies’.

Recently, during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, the 36-year-old actress opened up about the complications she faced during both her pregnancies. Anne also openly talked about supporting those who face troubles in conceiving a child even after many attempts. Talking about the same, the Ocean's 8 actor told Entertainment tonight, 

I am really happy. This is something I’ve been wanting for a while and I’m really happy it’s happening. It’s not (always a straight line). There is a sort of one-size-fits-all narrative to this, and of course it’s wonderful that we celebrate the happy moment when it’s ready to share. I think there is a silence around the moments before that, and they’re not all happy, and in fact, a lot of them are quite painful. And I think that pain is increased when we think we’re the only one going through it.

The American beauty got hitched to actor Adam Shulman on 29th September 2012 and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman on March 24, 2016

The actress also added that she wanted to make sure that people struggling to have a child also felt seen. 

I just knew that somewhere, my announcement was going to make somebody feel worse about themselves... you can’t help it, you just want something so bad, and it feels like it’s happening to everyone else but you. And I just wanted that person to know that they’re included in my story, too, and that my story didn’t just have happy moments in it.
