"Want to get Paid as much as Akshay Kumar!," Kareena Kapoor on Pay Disparity in Bollywood

Kareena has raised herself to success with her performance and firey ramp walks. The actress experienced a fair share of struggles in her life and now being a mommy, there are several barriers that women try to come to terms with. There have been several debates about equality, and there has always been one topic that fails to see the conclusion. 

Pay Disparity - has been one of the most controversial topics of all time and now Kareena Kapoor Khan has raised her voice about pay difference between actors and actresses in Bollywood. She talked about the changing times and how women have reached positions of power in the film industry. 

In conclusion, she also joked that she just wants the same paycheck as his co-star Akshay.

When the actress was asked about pay disparity in Bollywood between male and female actors, she said, "As far as the paycheck goes, I just want to get paid as much as Akshay Kumar gets paid." 

Kareena and Akshay have been friends for a long time. Even before the actress joined the industry, the Khiladi and Begum of Bollywood were close friends as she used to visit the sets of the films which he shot with Kareena's sister Karishma Kapoor. 

On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Good Newwz starring along Akshay. The film also stars Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Apart from that, she is also working on Angrezi Medium and Laal Singh Chaddha.
