Sab TV's popular show Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Nayi Duniya was evidently one of the shows on the block to have faced an untimely stop owing to the lockdown in Maharashtra. While many shows went on to relocate somewhere else, latest report suggests that Wagle Ki Duniya will also be moving it's shoot location temporarily to Silvassa. Furthermore, it will begin re-airing fresh episodes from 26th April 2021 onwards.

The show revolves around two couples Sumeet Raghavan and Pariva Pranati, and Annjjan Srivastava and Bharti Achrekar. While Raghavan and Pranati have already left for Silvassa, the latter senior actors won't be a part of the show for some time.

Talking about it to ETimes TV, producer JD Majethia said, "We don't want to compromise on the quality and therefore, we have woven a track and brought the holiday resort angle in the show. The future episodes (current track) will show how a middle-class family goes to a resort for a holiday and get stuck at the resort due to a lockdown in the country." He further said, "Annjjanji and Bhartiji won't be shooting for some time because they are senior actors and I don't think it is safe for them to travel to Silvasa from Mumbai during the pandemic. Also, it may not be very comfortable there like it is on the set, where we shoot with an air-conditioner. So during summer, it is avoidable. Secondly, when the shoot is at a resort, it requires a lot of walking around. The food too may not be healthy for senior citizens if they have it for a long time. For now, they are not shooting. Let's see how things go."

Furthermore talking about it, Majethia said, "We went to shoot at Silvassa only after everyone tested negative. Currently, we are operating in a bio-bubble kind of a format and it is quite comfortable shooting with people at one place and all those who have tested negative. I feel as long as corona is here, the bio-bubble format works for us."
