After the stellar success of Asur, Marzi and The Raikar Case, Voot Select is all set to premiere its upcoming original titled ‘Illegal’ on the 12th May. The digital streamer dropped the trailer of Illegal today.

In its exploration of courtrooms, the show is set to chronicle everything that goes on behind the scenes of what looks like the most popular law firm in the country. The 1:39-minute trailer clip reveals high profile cases, legal elites and themes of justice, ambition and greed amidst it all.

The upcoming courtroom drama has an ensemble cast of Piyush Mishra and Neha Sharma in lead roles. Piyush Mishra, plays Janardhan Jaitley who is called the best lawyer in the country. Meanwhile, Neha Sharma plays Niharika Singh who is a defense lawyer, labelled as ‘Mad lawyer’ in the show. Faced by an extremely challenging rape case, the characters start out their journey to know the truth.
