Vivek Oberoi reacts as Aditya Chopra donates entire YRF 50 budget for Covid aid

Yash Raj Films head honcho Aditya Chopra took a big step towards Covid relief as he decided to donate the entire budget of the grand celebration of the golden jubilee of his production house Yash Raj Films.

Actor Vivek Oberoi is mighty impressed with Chopra’s decision and praised the producer on social media. Vivek took to his Twitter handle to pen a note of appreciation:

"Hats off to #AdityaChopra for turning the budget of the incredible milestone of #YRF50 into a source of helping the people in need. Truly a leader, not just in the film fraternity but now also in humanity.@yrf#TeamYRF."

In 2020, Yash Raj Films completed 50 glorious years in the industry and Aditya Chopra had marked a humongous budget to celebrate the milestone with a mega event, that would make headlines in the news. However, owing to the current scenario in the nation, he decided to divert the money for helping daily wage workers.

The kitchens of the YRF studios have been opened to provide cooked meals to thousands of frontline workers in Goregaon and also feed people at quarantine centres in Andheri.

Previously, Aditya Chopra also launched the ‘Yash Chopra Saathi Initiative’ to provide support to thousands of daily workers in the film industry.
