Vivek Oberoi CLAIMS he was supposed to do Munna Bhai MBBS!

Remember the days, when we enjoyed Munna Bhai MBBS which is considered as one of the most exquisite masterpieces in film fraternity? Yes, the film took the audience by a storm and we genuinely loved Sanjay Dutt's performance. But, what if the team of Munna Bhai had casted Vivek Oberoi?

Over the years, Vivek has turned down various films for a variety of reasons, however they are yet to be unknown. During a media interaction, Vivek Oberoi had said that he was offered Rajkumar Hirani's 2003-film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and although he had given his nod for the film, but due to date issues, the film went to Sanjay Dutt because Oberoi couldn't adjust his dates. "I wanted to do Munnabhai, I said yes to it, but destiny had it that it was supposed to be a Sanjay Dutt film. I couldn't adjust my dates," said the actor.

Munna Bhai MBBS went on to win the 2004 National Film Award for Best Popular Film and several Filmfare Awards. Munna Bhai MBBS starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Gracy Singh and Sunil Dutt.

On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi is making a comeback with the film PM Narendra Modi, he will be playing PM Narendra Modi's character in the biopic and while all his fans are rejoicing with the fact that Vivek is back to the screen. However, amidst the ongoing controversies with the film Vivek Oberoi slammed the Hindi film industry for posting selfies with PM Modi but not helping him out in the whole matter of controversies surrounding the release of his film.
