Currently, remixing songs has been a common criteria for making a film successful. While a section of audience has already opposed to the formula with disappointment, Bollywood composer Vishal Dadlani has slammed the filmmakers with a tweet which dominantly showcased his annoyance over the current trend!

For a few years now, remixing has been a common notion amongst Bollywood directors and even though the formula has worked successfully, Dadlani has countered the idea.

Taking it to his social media handles, the singer wrote: "Warning. Do NOT remix Vishal and Shekhar songs without our permission, due credit & remuneration. I will come for you hard, legally. Especially the musicians doing it. This will become very, very personal, even if you are a friend."

He further wrote, “Warning. Do NOT remix Vishal and Shekhar songs without our permission, due credit & remuneration. I will come for you hard, legally. Especially the musicians doing it. This will become very, very personal, even if you are a friend.”

In his post, he has also mentioned that he has heard of songs like Dus Bahaane, Desi Girl, Sajnaaji Vaari Vaari and more being redone. The composer/singer even attributed vulture’s behavior to slam them.

His recent disclosure must have definitely ruffled a few feathers and he received a rather funny reply to his tweet

Reacting to his tweet filmmaker Anubhav Sinhaa wrote that two of the upcoming remixes were from his films and he would soon send Vishal and Shekhar bank details. He said: “Two are mine. Will send you bank details.”

Adding to it even Badshah replied to his tweet saying, “Word sir.”
