Virat Kohli talking about daughter Vamika, raising first baby with Anushka is too sweet to miss

Celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first child on January 11, 2021 and named their daughter Vamika.

The couple is taking their sweet little time to introduce babygirl Vamika to the media. They are spending maximum time taking care of the newborn and embracing parenthood for the first time.

Virat Kohli, Royal Challenger Bangalore captain, who is currently playing for the Indian Premier League opened up about turning a father for the first time and raising Vamika with wife Anushka.

Speaking to television host Danish Sait, Virat shared how it is a completely new experience for him. He said:

“Things change quite drastically. Everything you have been used to changes. You have to be totally aligned with taking care of another life that’s totally dependent on the mother primarily, but also dependent on the father. Both parents taking care of the child is a different environment altogether and something that we both (Anushka and him) have enjoyed thoroughly.”

He further talked about spending time with his babygirl and it is too sweet for words. He added:

"It’s been life changing. It has been a connect which has been different from anything that both of us have experienced before. Just to see your child smile, it can’t be put in words. I can’t express how it feels from within. It’s just been such a blessed and amazing period.”

On the other hand, mommy Anushka Sharma has also resumed work and got back to sets after three months of delivering a baby.

Anushka Sharma was last seen in the film Zero in 2018. While she may have been away from acting on the silver screen, she turned producer in the meantime and bankrolled a number of interesting projects like Bulbbul and Paatal Lok. She will also be backing Irrfan Khan's son Babil's acting debut movie, Qala.
