Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who is married to Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, is once again making news. Virat has caught public attention after claims that he liked a bold photo on social media. On Thursday night, many users said that Virat had reportedly liked one of German influencer Lizzalazz's pictures on Instagram. The claim quickly spread online and started a lot of discussion among fans and social media users.
Netizens react as Virat Kohli likes German influencers post
The 'like' has again started conversations online, though it is still not clear whether Kohli did it by mistake or if it was an error in the app. Reacting to the news, one Reddit user joked, "Looks like there will be some explaining to do at home." Another person advised Virat to create a separate private Instagram profile: "Bhai, maybe time for a low-key account." A third commenter took a swipe at Kohli and referred to it as an "unintended tap".
When Virat liked Avneet Kaur’s post
Last year, many fans spotted that Virat Kohli had 'liked' one of Avneet Kaur's posts on Instagram. After the internet quickly turned the moment into a wave of memes, Virat Kohli put out a clarification and said the app's algorithm was to blame. He wrote, "I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made."
Instead of calming things down, Virat's explanation ended up drawing even more attention and discussion online.
Later, Avneet also addressed the controversy. At the trailer launch event for her movie Love In Vietnam, the actress was questioned about getting attention and praise from well-known personalities on the internet. With a smile, she responded, "May the love keep coming."
