Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma offer prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain; pictures get viral

It looks like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been on a spiritual spree since the beginning of this year. The couple entered this year by visiting an ashram in Vrindavan and offering their prayers there.

Recently, the power couple visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. 

Virat was in Indore to play the third Test match against Australia which ended within three days. Anushka and Virat can be seated next to one other inside the Mahakaleshwar Temple in a video circulated online.

 Virat talked to one of the priests as, Anushka, and he sat together in a corner. Kohli was seen donning a white, while Anushka donned a pale pink saree. The priest was seated next to him, and he appeared to keep his head bowed while he prayed. 

Before this, a month ago, Virat and Anushka had gone to Uttrakhand and visited a temple there as well. Their daughter Vamika also accompanied them for the trip, and the duo offered fans peeks at their serene and blissful trip on their respective social media. 

Virat Kohli made headlines recently when he talked about his wife, Anushka Sharma, in a recent podcast for RCB and shared how he feels that she has made massive sacrifices as a mother in the last two years.

For the unversed, Virat and Anushka embraced parenthood in 2021.

On the professional front, Anushka Sharma has been on a hiatus since 2018. She will make her big comeback with the sports biopic 'Chakda Xpress.' The film will revolve around the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami and is all set for a direct-to-digital release on Netflix.
