Vir Das’ neighbor Threatens to Assault after Sneezing over him for sharing a meal with a friend amid lockdown!

Vir Das recently engaged in an ugly spat with his neighbor who seemed extremely upset that the actor was enjoying dinner with a friend. He captured the entire episode on his smartphone and even shared it on his social media handle. 

The video featured Delhi Belly actor’s neighbor who constantly urged him to put on a mask, even sneezed close to him and also threatening to slap him.

In his note, Vir Das gave a detailed explanation of the incident and revealed that the man holds grudges against him because he stays in an apartment that the man wished to own but he couldn’t. Vir also revealed that the man stirred controversy in the past as well, wherein he had involved the media.

Sharing the video on social media Vir wrote, “Lockdown Neighbour. I was giving my friend Kavi who lives three houses down from me some dinner. We were waiting for it to get cooked 15 feet away from each-other. Me on my doorstep, him out. This happened.”

In his clarification statement, Das shared that he was in his sit-out area while his neighbor was in the complex, was fully socially distanced.

The actor further tweeted, “To be clear. Uncle has previously gone to tabloids to get articles written about me and my family. I let it go quietly multiple times before. I have posted this here because at least then the truth is out there before seedy articles. Tonight crossed the line. Hope you understand.”

On Monday Vir Das took to his Twitter handle and spoke about the incident about the previous night. He even revealed that they have been putting up with this for a long time, “For eight months now someone ahs harassed me, my wife, our staff and multiple people in our society all willing to go on record.”
