Vijayendra Kumeria shares that even though they work with so many people in the industry, finding real friends is very difficult!

A lot has been spoken about mental health and it's importance over the past few days. Actor Vijayendra Kumeria got into a conversation with a leading daily where he spoke about mental health and also stated that even though in the industry, they work with so many people, finding real friends here is very difficult. 

Speaking to the Times of India, Vijayendra shared that it is sad that in our country, depression is not taken seriously enough and consulting a psychiatrist is often considered taboo. The Actor believes that it is a serious issue and it needs to be addressed. He also mentioned that it is very difficult to know or understand what a celebrity is going through in his/her personal life and added that the actors have to be discreet about their emotions as otherwise, it becomes fodder for gossip. 

Vijayendra stated that in the industry, even though they know and work with a lot of people, yet finding real friends here is very difficult. He also added that even though everyone talks about supporting their colleague, in reality, everybody is busy with their own life and careers and have no time for others. The Actor believes that spreading awareness about mental health is essential and above all, we need to be sensitive and compassionate towards people around us.
