Video: Sushant Singh Rajput's Hometown Bihar Names a Road After Him In His Memory

Bollywood's shining star Sushant Singh Rajput left too soon on June 14 2020. In a tragic move, he died by suicide at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. 

Sushant's untimely demise comes as a big blow to his friends and family. His loss feels personal to millions of fans across the globe, who are saddened with the actor's loss.

Earlier it was reported that Sushant's Patna home will be turned into a memorial in his tribute. And now a road at his hometown Purnea in Bihar has been named after him, in his memory.

Reportedly, Mayor Savita Devi said that Sushant was a great artist and naming the road after his name is a form of tribute to the late actor. According to her, the road that goes from Madhubani to Mata Chowk will now be called Sushant Singh Rajput road and a popular car company roundabout has also been rechristened to Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk.

As per reports, the Mayor has also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a CBI enquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Previously, actors Shekhar Suman, Rupa Ganguly have also been urging the Government to follow a CBI investigation in Sushant's suicide case.
