Vicky's GREAT Performance-A GRIPPING Tale are POWER POINTS Of URI

An ENGAGING and GRIPPING Tale of Surgical Strike which keeps you ENGAGED till the End (3.5/5)

'URI: The Surgical Strike' is based on the 2016 Surgical Strikes which were conducted by the Indian Army on 'launch-pads' used by militants in Pakistan which was a perfect answer to the deadly terrorist attacks conducted by Pakistani militants in which 19 Indian soldiers lost their lives and many of them were injured.

The movie is divided into 4 chapters showing every aspect and cause of the Surgical Strike. The film is shown through Major Vihaan Shergill's (Vicky Kaushal) point of view who heads the surgical strike.

Vicky makes the movie worth watching. He essays the right intensity and determination one would expect from a military Major.

The mission is planned by Nation Security Advisor who is fictionalized as Govind Sir (Paresh Rawal) with the assistance of Intelligence officer Pallavi Sharma (Yami Gautam).

Paresh Rawal has beautifully portrayed his role and Yami Gautam also has a strong character.

Director Aditya Dhar is tuned into action scenes, manages to get the VFX and most of the action sequences on point.

Great cinematography makes it a treat to watch. Overall it is an Intense and Gripping story which keeps you engaged till the end.
